What's the most manly way to shave? Real Men Don't Shave!
In a world of mustaches and beards, I watch men that run around bragging and gloating about the color, size, or fluffiness of their facial hair and I was envious. Life just seemed to be so wonderful for them.I could envision my imaginary bearded self dressed in flannel and stomping through the woods (axe over shoulder) just to return home to my log cabin where some sort of red meat is waiting on the stove.Sadly, after almost 20 years of trying to grow a beard, I gave up and in a fit just began shaving everything to match my ridiculous face. The shaving addiction started and the next six years are a bit of a blur as it seemed that I was happy to throw all caution to the wind and throw money out the window for razors and cartridges. Doing the math at one cartridge a week +shave cream +new handles if needed + razor bump prevention creams I know I’ve spent at least $1,000-$2,000 over the years with the addiction.A couple months ago I was out of cartridges and I was fiening hard so I grabbed my daughter, we whisked off to the store, and as I stood there holding my 5 pack of Mach 3 razors for 17$ my daughter looked at me and asked “Mommy!? What are those?” Ashamed I hid them behind my back and just as I did a guy walked up, chuckled to himself, and said “I didn’t know women used these too!”Yes that’s right- I’m a girl, always have been, and even though I’m blonde and have fine hair I was buying men’s razors because they seemed to work better and cause less irritation in the more sensitive areas. I make good money but I couldn’t see continuing to dump money into this shaving situation so I went looking for other options which led me to this. From other people’s reviews and tips I also purchased a sampler pack of blades. The first day I had it, I’d just play with it in my hand amused by the weight and feel of it. The sample pack of blades, I laid out like baseball cards. I felt like I was five and I had found treasures of some sort. The first shave was slow because I wanted to make sure I did it right. I used a Feather razor and I did nick myself right under my kneecap. I showed someone the nick the next day and his reaction was “I don’t even think that qualifies as a nick it looks like a mosquito bite”. I haven’t nicked myself since (it’s been a month) and now it takes me the same amount of time to shave with this as a disposable but since it seems to shave closer I don’t have to shave as much. I haven’t had to change the 0.31$ blade yet.I just make sure to take it out, dry it, and store it after each use(takes seconds).Biggest selling points for me?1) CHEAP!!2) Absolutely no irritation anywhere to include the land down under and it’s maintained Brazilian style. No special shaving creams and no after products just a clean close shave without bumps.3) Sounds silly but I feel like an adult with this thing.

Excellent quality
This is my second Parker razor. I bought the first one about 15 years ago and it still works fine except that my son filched it. I expect this to likely last longer than I will be around. The build quality is superb. If you are tired of paying a kings ransom for shaving blade cartridges, get a good safety razor. You'll save $ and still get a great shave.

Good, but recognize
Not gonna lie, it's fo sho not a mild razor, it can get to slicing n dicing, but if you master your equipment, you'll make it out, pretty face still in good shape. Well made, doesn't feel at all cheap.

Great quality, absolutely love it!
I purchased the pink razor and I love it! It is for sure a learning curve to get used to how to use this razor, as it is trickier to use than a regular multi-blade razor, so as long as you're more careful it'll all work out great! Honestly, best shave I've gotten in a long time, and so much more affordable and less wasteful than the generic multi-blade razors you find in store. I will preach about this razor forever, it has saved me so much money and the shave quality it great! I really love how each blade comes individually wrapped, so you can dispose of your previous one in that wrapper for safety! 10/10 love it!

No close shave
I got this to use in hopes for a clean close shave but it just didn't meet my expectations. I just feel it does not shave close enough to remove hair like it should. I've had so many issues in finding a razor to get the close shave I desire from razors like this type.

A miracle for sensitive skin
I bought this razor because I have horribly sensitive skin and any type of hair removal, especially shaving, would leave my skin burning, red, and bumpy, and then in 2-3 days I'd have all of the ingrown hairs to deal with. Shaving would hurt my bikini area and lady bits so bad I was scared people would think I had an STD. I reached a breaking point and decided to give a safety razor a try before saving up the money for laser hair removal. This has made all the difference in the world and I'm so disappointed i didn't try it sooner! Now on the first try, I hated this razor. I hated it the second time too, because after I bled all over my shower my legs were still very prickly. Shaving with a safety razor requires a very different technique than a disposable razor. I was holding it at a completely wrong angle, pushing down, and making long strokes. Watch a YouTube video on it first, it seems basic but those extra 5 minutes are worth it. I would recommend this razor to anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin. And if you don't like it the first time, I'd urge you to try at least 2 more times to see if it gets better. I still have trouble getting a very close shave and some irritation on my very sensitive areas and spots with a lot of curves, but it is so mild that it only lasts an hour, and I no longer have any razor burn at all on my legs, plus the closest shave I've ever had! I'm finally able to shave my legs more than once a week too, which is so nice in the summer.I haven't tried new blades yet, just the ones in the box, and I've been using a shave brush with Coates rose shave cream for sensitive skin.I also was worried about bringing razor blades in my bag while traveling since I just had a 3 week backpacking trip and many flights between places, but I kept the blades in their wrapping, in the razor box, in my toiletry bag, and had no problems getting through airport security.
