A couple of weeks ago, I was cleaning my ear with a cotton swab and suddenly lost my hearing. I tried using ear drops constantly, but things only got worse until I completely lost hearing in my left ear. As a last resort, I decided to buy this product. I have been purchasing items on Amazon for many years, and without exaggeration, this is by far the best purchase I have ever made. It allowed me to clean the inside of my ear very easily and effectively, and I was finally able to hear again. This product is absolutely amazing. I would recommend it without hesitation and would buy it a million times if I could. Thank you so much!

I'm not going to include any photos because there are many other reviewers that did. But little ear camera is a game changer. It does take a little bit of getting used to, as other reviewers said, but if you move slowly and don't get frustrated it works great. The little scoop on the end will pick up a minimal amount of wax buildup or you can remove it and use one of the tools. Please note, when you are using the tools that are provided, which are very helpful, you cannot see what you are doing. You will have to put them in your ear canal and try to remove what you can and then go back in with the camera. The tools and the camera are very easy to clean and I just store everything back in the packaging that it came in. It is lightweight and small enough that I can stick it in a drawer for when I need it. It charged quickly and appears to hold a charge pretty well. You do need to download their app in order to look at the camera but you can do it in real time holding your phone. I also like that you can use it anywhere. Obviously if you are cleaning a bunch of gunk out of your ear you probably want to be in your bathroom but if you just needed to look inside for a moment you can do it from the comfort of your couch or your bed. It makes it feel less clinical. I bought this because I was having crackling in my ears and wasn't sure what was going on and this thing was a game changer to help me clean them myself so that I didn't have to visit the doctor. So much less stress.

Of course, as with any home remedy, this has to be done carefully. Don't forget that you're actually sticking something in your ear, and there is a chance that if you make a mistake you could cause eardrum damage. This is where the tiny camera comes into play. In combination with a smartphone, the camera has an LED light next to it and it gives a clear, bright image of what is inside the ear canal. This image is vital to doing the job safely. Amazingly, this type of technology is available nowadays for anyone at a reasonable cost. The camera on this tool has to be paired with a smartphone or tablet to serve as the camera monitor. I did read the other reviews before choosing this item, and with regards to the suspicion of privacy I decided to use an old smartphone that I had and I connected it to my isolated guest WiFi instead. This ensured that if there was anything fishy with the viewing app, it would not have any access to my actual private network or any other device connected to my network. I can understand why there are comments about the privacy though (to be honest, this app does not need complete access to the entire network, there is no reason for it) and since I had to take a few extra steps to keep my home network secure when using this device, I removed 1 star from the overall rating. So all in all, if you need to remove wax, this is a good option to try. It costs less than a visit to an ear specialist, but as with all DIY things, you have to be very careful when using it.

As I carefully inserted the tool into my ear canal, the buildup was sitting right there, crystal clear on my screen. Being able to see exactly what I was doing made all the difference. I have used other tools to fish blindly in my ear, always trying to figure out where that buildup was. This takes care of that problem. It was awesome to use the camera to guide my hand and nudge it out. Within just 2 minutes, I had both ears thoroughly cleaned out. My only recommendation is that if the wax is too stubborn, try after a shower, so the steam and hot water soften it.
