Most Effective Wasp Trap I've Used
For three years I've been using this trap, replacing the ones degraded by UV or I've dropped and broken. First use I began mid-summer 3 years ago, and had decent results to what was a wild overpopulation of red wasps; we were being tagged or stung pretty often, fighting for position on our side and back porches, even in the garage. The next spring, at first sign of warmth, I put these out and the first week so many hungry wasps crammed into two of these I had to spray poison inside to kill them because there's no way they would ever drown in the fluid in the bottom because there were almost 70 inside. That year we kept the traps going through the summer, and by fall we had a manageable population, and no use of poison. Excellent design, they work where other traps have failed completely.

Does what it says
If you have a wasp problem and are tired of trying to spray them down, buy this product. The Bad:- These are made in China, so quality is mixed. I bought four of these and one wasn't sealed together well. It was usable but any impact might break it apart.- These do hang by a small rope. While the rope is of fine quality, there is a situation where if you put these in a windy location, they tend to swing a lot back and forth and dump out your bait. Would be nice if they made a more stiff hanger to combat this. The Good:- Even with the one semi-defective one, these were ABSOLUTELY worth the money. Within a week they had caught around 35 wasps.- Easy to wash out dead wasps and refill- Used cheap apple juice + a little white wine at bait

Affordable and works!!!!
In a matter of four days, we caught 235 mostly yellow jackets wasps and hornets. Both of my kids as well as I got stung in three days and we were not having it. This is our home. We are very satisfied with the trap so far. We follow the instructions and used apple juice. Next time I would like to add some chicken as yellow jackets like meat. There were a few flies and Beatles in the mix. But no honeybees. Very satisfied that I was killing the best that we wanted gone. My kids feel safer to run around outside in the backyard!!! We will post the results of chicken bate!

Not Effective or Easy to Use
I have many traps around my house from various manufacturers, and I can see first hand which ones work and which ones don't. These traps are not doing the job for me. I also found that they are rather flimsy and poorly constructed. Also, transporting the traps with the liquid in the bottom proved to be a challenge as there is not a lot of room between the liquid level and the seam around the base, meaning that liquid dripped out as I was carrying it.I would not buy these again.

It works
I read many of the reviews on here most where either good or totally bad before I bought these. My experience, first i give these 4 stars instead of 5 because of the plastic used in the top it will definitely degrade over time.Mine arrived in pristine condition no problems at all.I use these to keep alot of bees away from my hummingbirds and Oriole feeders setting them about 4 feet from each feeder. In reading the many negative reviews about them not working i really think many over think things. My formula is simple no juices or other concoctions a 1/4 cup of sugar and enough water to reach just below the first holes as the direction states. My results for day one i set only one out near my hummingbird feeder in 3 hours it had captured 18 yellowjackets a few hours later it had two dozen. Pretty damn good.2nd day i used two the one for the hummingbird and another for the oriole feeder. Results 5 in the one by the orioles 6 by the hummingbirds. But the real positive thing is only had 1 bee on the bird feeders that's right i said one.The hummbirds went from a few the first day to over 2 dozen the second. Orioles from 2 to 7. More inline with how things were before the yellowjacket invasion. For me a complete success. One other note besides unscrewing the cap when the bees are all dead there is absolutely no reason to take the device further apart. A simple rinse with warm water is all that is needed. It's not like a feeder trying to keep it clean so birds dont get sick. Were killing problem bees not trying to keep them from harm. This device works well if used right.

Garbage
I previously used this item, which seemed to work so I was a returning customer since I deal with yearly bees. I read the product’s new and improved design, but didn’t think much of it. It turns out, their new and improved design is nothing but flimsy plastic slapped together in an insecure manner. I hoped for the best though. I filled up the container with sweets and water to the fill line, and held the bottom of it until I went to hang it. The second I let go, the bottom broke off and all the liquid splattered everywhere (which I am sure will attract even more bees). I tried to re-attach the cheap plastic to the upper part of the container, which is poorly held together on the sides. I was unable to repair this piece of garbage since the cheap plastic connectors were no longer in-tact. You are better off poking holes in an empty milk container and using that as a bee catcher (which I plan to do). Don’t waste your time or money on this product. I would have requested a refund, but it’s not worth my time, I have already thrown this joke of a product in the garbage, where is belongs.

Definitely a no go here in Massachusetts
Wanted to wait a bit to give the traps a fair chance to work. Around here every spring there is hornets and wasps everywhere! Put out both traps for the past two weeks. Not a single victim. I tried different baits, gave them a week to work. Tried hanging the traps, placing them right near a active nest.Nothing, not a single one captured. For me these are a complete waste of time and money.Tried for bait-1 sugar water with cut fruit2 hummingbird feeder food with cut fruit3 50/50 water and hamburger fat mix4 water with little raw chicken5 water with little apple vinger and chicken
