Is it hard to put together ?

Was not hard to put together but 4 or 5 holes were stripped out from the get go. Now legs are extremely loose and firepit wobbles. Don't know if I should try adding weight of fire wood and then proceeding to burn it. I would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed. Do not buy.

Are the legs on this product hollow and accessible?

They are not tubes they are sturdy

How well does this work as a grill?

I have not used my firepit as a grill but I would think it would be perfect. I would use charcoal instead of wood, but that would be MY preference.
