Gerber Plumbing Metal Interlock Shower Hose with Brass Conical Nuts

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! This is absolutely the best shower hose I have ever had. I had to have my bathroom turned into a handicap bathroom and even though I had a hand held shower, the young man that put it back in after the install of the handicap shower, he used a wrench to tighten it even though I had told him to HAND TIGHTEN it, which he ignored. I had to purchase a new hand held shower and the hose that came with it was SO STIFF that it was impossible to give my handicap husband a shower using it without it hitting him in the head and I was unable to get it to bend to shower my husband underneath his arms. With the Danze, the only complaint I have is that I could have use one a few inches longer. I have no problems getting to the underarm area to be able to make sure my husband is clean in that area. Thank you Danze for a wonderful product. Even though it is a bit on the pricey side, I would buy it again. I have had it a few weeks now, installed it myself, (I am 71 years young) and had no problems at all. A little plumbers tape around the connections and it doesn't leak, thank goodness. I would recommend this shower hose to anyone that need one that moves easily, especially if you are caring for and having to shower a handicap person. So far, so good!

I had a problem to solve in buying this product...originally I purchased a pretty standard plastic-like shower hose for my bathroom to be used with a handheld shower head. The old hose seemed just fine while the water was off, however as soon as I turned the water on the water pressure would cause the cheap hose to tighten up and push up against the shower wall, causing the shower head to swivel one direction or another. There is nothing worse than trying to shower while the shower head keeps automatically turning to one side or another!So I went online to find an all metal flexible hose that would not become so tight when the water turned on. This product is PERFECT! The hose doesn't move AT ALL when the water turns on, so the shower head stays put unless I move it. Due to being all metal, the hose is extremely flexible and doesn't even come out of the box in a weird bent shape. It hangs beautifully in the shower right out of the box. I also have my shower head mounted very high up on the wall, and the 72-inch length is great for still being able to reach the tub/floor to wash dogs, children, etc.I bought the hose with the suggested Danze shower arm mount and they look and work great together. I would definitely buy an item from this product line again. Love it!

Good replacement hose, that was reasonably priced, is more flexible than than the original Delta faucet hose and matched the brushed nickel on the faucet very well. The only downside is I cannot get it to not slowly leak where it connects to the upper shower head. It's not that big of deal, as it only leaks when the shower is on and water is going to the wand; so the water is only leaking into the shower itself. The small leak does not appear to have an effect on the pressure coming out of the handheld wand I pulled the hose off twice and re-tightened it twice, using plumbers tape both times.

Everything in our fancy hall shower is Grohe. Everything except this hose. The Grohe hose was almost a hundred on Amazon (more elsewhere) and this one is MUCH less.The finish is a perfect Satin Nickel, the hose looks great and is used every day now for months without the slightest issue. I was worried that a cheap hose would not hang nice and be kinked but that is not the case. The hose is every bit as nice as the hundred buck hose outwardly and looks great next to all the high-priced Grohe parts. Nobody can tell that this isn't the "matching" hose.Do yourself a favor and just buy this hose and save yourself a bunch of money on something that will probably wear out either way in a few years and need replacing anyhow.I'm glad I took the risk to buy this as some of the reviews were not so good. I don't know what they are talking about. Don't over-tighten the plastic ends and you will be fine. They are not supposed to be tight. There are O-rings inside them. They only need to be hand-tight. No duh if you tighten them like a gorilla the plastic is going to break... Don't DO that ;)

We recently bought a Waterpik brushed nickel showerhead from a big b&m store. I didn't really read the package (and I should have) and just assumed it would magically be the exact length shower hose that we wanted. Our previous one was 6 feet long and it was just perfect for our kids to use. Unfortunately, the 5 foot hose that came with the new package was JUST short enough that it created quite a wet mess.After going online to Waterpik, we ran into a problem that they didn't make any brushed nickel hoses that were longer than 5 feet long! We really liked the showerhead and wanted a decently inexpensive way to make it all work out. And that's when we found this great Danze hose on Amazon, exact same brushed nickel shade and everything.The Danze 6 foot hose was perfect out of the box. It already felt "worn in" and when we hooked it up, no leaks thanks to the rubber washers that were supplied for both ends (no caulking needed!). The shade and look of the hose fit into our existing head so perfectly that my wife couldn't tell they were 2 separate products!Very satified indeed.

I was looking for a good replacement hose to the standard plastic ones that come with many Delta faucets nowadays. However this metal one isn't very study. I was hoping that it would be much more substantial than it is, especially for the price this one costs. It feels like thin metal jacket on a braided covered pencil diameter rubber hose inside. The fittings on the ends aren't the best either. I wish I could send this one back but I waited past 30 days before opening it while the shower was being re-tiled, and now I am stuck with it. Well I guess I will be replacing it soon enough when it breaks. Maybe it will last longer than it seems.
