Mix thoroughly; takes longer to work than claimed, but does work.
Only for latex paint, like it says quite clearly on the package.Mix thoroughly until you can see the grains of hardener distributed throughout the paint.Be patient -- it takes days to work, not hours like it says on the back of the package, or 24 hours like it shows on the front. But even after a day, it turned some of my paint into a very thick slurry that could be disposed of in the town dump. If you have a source of sawdust, that will work almost as well, and perhaps kitty litter would as well.

Works great to harden paint.My trash collectors require paint be hardened. I left it out in the sun to dry but it was taking too long. This product hardened in less than an hour.
