I am a nail tech and decided to try this as I didn’t want to wait for the akzentz trinity and this is a nice hard gel (for personal use). I say personal use as I don’t believe there is a way to get a sds on their products for salon use (sadly bc beetles is great imo). Anyways, I’ve used their clear sculpting gel in the past so I figured this would be equal quality. Much less bubbles than their sculpting gel. Viscosity is medium so good for beginners. It’s a bit thicker than I prefer as I’m used to working with akzentz which is kind of on the low viscosity side so I was worried about it leveling as it didn’t seem to self level well on silicone Hand but when I applied it on my hand the warmth of my nails did allow it to level much better. The viscosity allows you ample time to get the product perfectly in place with no flooding. The color is a beautiful pink that would look great on pretty much every skin tone. It’s not too dark and not too light. Great consistency for forms as well and I did a repair using a form and had no issues with running. Only worn for a day so far so can’t speak on its wear but tbh I never have issues with this brand when it comes to retention so I expect it to last per usual. I can easily get 4 wks with beetles. I think a lot of the reviews who are having issues are most likely hobbyists or new to gel maybe. Proper application is key to retention with all nail enhancements, as well as proper curing with the correct strength lamp and proper prep of the nail plate and not allowing product to flood cuticle or skin. If you do all of that right then should be fine. Will be trying out their other shades.

Just applied this gel and used IBD builder top coat and I like it a lot. It doesn’t self level as fast as a regular clear or pink builder does but that’s a nice aspect as it gives you time to play it without it tuning all over your side walls. Your body temperature will slow it to level a lil but I’m sure if you sit it in warm water it would be fine. The pink is very sheer and once you polish the nail with clear the gel just sparkles beautifully! The size of the container is small but nice for me as it’s enough to do a lot of fills on myself before I get tired of it. I did IBD sheer pink and a nice layer of the sparkles and it’s still looks natural with a lil pip of sparkle so I say try it out it saves from having to put layers of polish. Strong and easy to use! It lasts me about a week before losing a nail. Application is simple but time consuming I will say. Overall great product and it will last me a while!

definitely love how the outcome and how natural this hard gel looks! just a heads up i wouldn’t recommend this for beginners who are just starting to do their own nails or nails in general, i’m a nail tech and i usually only have worked with acrylic and BIAB, so getting used to this consistency is a bit tricky, it’s extremely sticky and takes a bit to get the hang of but nothing some alcohol and filing can’t do! Overall beautiful and natural color ✨

This hard gel surprised me in a good way. it’s thick but still easy to control and doesnt run everywhere like some gels do. cured hard under my lamp and stayed strong with no lifting so far. i use it for extensions and fixing broken nails and it holds up even with me being rough on my hands. clear and jelly nude both look really natural and smooth. im not a pro and this still made my nails look legit

Not hema free as advetised Now allergic to all gel because beetles advertised as a safe without warning g users of unsafe and harmful chemicals they use in their products. Do not buy I cant use any gel now because of their products. Burned my nails. Caused infections and contact dermatitis and damage to my nail beds. Its been almost a year and they are still healing. Might have permanent nail bed scarring from it too. Buyer beware

Lovely color and I have been purchasing beetles nail products for about 3 years now. Thankfully this is just as great as the other items I purchased. This is my attempt to find a another alternative to OPI's bubble bath. I do think this one is has a tiny bit more pink but I think it suits my skin tone just fine . Very easy to use and if you are new to or custom to doing your own nails at home these gels are extremely smooth and easy to work with. They last me so long when I prep everything properly. Once you get the hang of applying you shouldn't have any issues with streaky texture . And great value for the money that I've spent. The color payoff is also extremely fantastic. I would always recommend to others who wanted to try at home gel for themselves.

This nail gel has exceeded all my expectations. It’s honestly better than many expensive salon gels I’ve tried. It applies so smoothly with a brush, self-levels beautifully, and even in a thin layer it’s strong enough to prevent my nails from breaking. Truly impressive quality! Will purchase again.

Great hard gel. Cures well. Didn’t give me any heat spikes when curing surprisingly. I don’t know too much about Biab and hard gels but I have bought biab before and it was so runny and hard to build an apex so I never used it again. Then I discovered hard gel was a thing and chose beetles as the brand to try it out because I have a lot of beetles gel polish which are really good. This hard gel is so good for extensions. I usually do acrylic but recently stopped because of the chemicals being toxic to my pets. This photo is of my first time using hard gel for extensions rather than acrylic and it worked great and looks like acrylics. Very sturdy too. Only thing is it kept leaking over the cuticles after letting it sit for a second before curing so I had to clean up the edges quite often. That’s a minor set back though and that’s probably because I need more practice. Other than that it’s great.

Very easy to use and a subtle pink. On your natural nail, it does not look pink. If you use it for an extension, you can then visibly see the difference. I used my own dehydrator/primer, base coat & top coat. Then used this with a nail brush (like an eyeshadow makeup brush). It went on great, I did turn my hand upside down to help it self level which it did and I found it to not be too sticky. Very happy with the product.
