Great product
Excellent product. I painted my cars alloys using this can. My friends are in awe of the paint job I did myself. Its been 3 months now and it's still intact. Use it properly with primer and clear coat but make sure it's the right weather for the job to be successful

Perfect match for Model y induction Wheels
Perfect for my purposes fixing curb rash on model y. Price was marked up ridiculously due to the short supply.

this is bright silver or aluminum, not gunmetal
the cap in the photo for 248927 looks like it may be slightly darker, like gunmetal or forged steel, but it is closer to a bright aluminum color you see in stock automotive wheels. not a problem, just FYI if anyone is assuming the dark cap in the photo is what the paint will come out looking like.

Great finished result
Painted my 4 rims with one can of this. Looks great. Has held up through the weather as I park my car outdoors. Just pay attention to the prep work and your finished result will be fantastic!EDIT: still satisfied with product given it's so affordable, but I live in MN, and after one brutal winter with the salt here, the rims will need to be touched up. So expect it to be a yearly project if you live in a similar climate.

Matches OEM Grey/metallic wheels
The media could not be loaded. I liked how one can provided enough coverage for (4) 18-inch wheels about 3 coats each wheel.Easy to use and changed the view of my KIA optima which had sunburnt paint from years of exposure to the elements.Make sure to do light coats and degrease the wheels and clean nooks/cranies with brush.Would recommend!

Be Careful of what primer you use with this paint!
I cleaned up some steel wheels that had minor rust left. I should have just gone to duplicolor but I used this stuff instead. Mistake. All the paint is chipping off and it took WEEKS to dry hard enough to even put back on the vehicle.Turns out that the major mistake was using the "Rust Metal Primer", which was probably not needed because there was so little rust left. "They say" that this primer also stays soft to react with rust. This weekend I had to clean up a bunch of chipped spots and then I repainted sections with just this paint and no primer. In a day it dried hard. Meanwhile, the primer layer that I was sanding off was still soft after 4 months. SO, use the right primer and if it's not rusty do not use the rusty metal primer. It's soft. That all being said I have no idea what the "right " primer is now and I'm still never ever ever going to use Rust-Oleum on any auto project ever again. There are much better options out there.
