Easy to instal works great

Pros: Exact replacement for the battery that was originally installed. Charged up and worked greatCons: Tools seemed like a nice add but they are pretty lightweight and all broke immediately.

If your mega boom won't charge check out the YouTube videos on how to open the speaker properly (not like I did) and use this battery. Easy af to do and works like a charm. Not 1 issue with the product. Fyi it's a lil bigger (like less than 1mm) in diameter so when it's installed it's harder to get out than the other one because of friction.

Battery arrived no charged at all after charging got 100%, I have been using it for 2 days and still shows 60 % charged

I purchased this battery about 11 months ago and its worked perfectly until about a week ago. My speaker no longer turns on unless it’s plugged in which tells me that it won’t hold a charge anymore. This is exactly what originally happened to it before I replaced the battery with this one. I guess it’s a small price to pay every year to keep your speaker working like it’s supposed to, but it’s a shame that this battery didn’t last longer.Other than the lifespan of the battery, it held a better charge than the original one did. I rarely had to recharge it and I used it quite a bit. Installation was also very quick and easy. Just don’t use the stupid tools they give you. The plastic isn’t strong enough and mine snapped almost immediately. I carefully used a screwdriver instead and it worked perfectly.I’m thinking about repurchasing, however I’ll probably look elsewhere first since this one lasted less than a year. RIP (again) Megaboom.

Died within 6 months. Doesn't hold charge at all. Complete waste of money

Love this tools are fragile but don't need them

This battery fits almost perfectly. The problem is the battery takes about 3 hours to charge fully and only lasts for 5-6 hours of use. The original battery only took a bit over an hour for full charge and lasted 18-22 hours.
