Good for charging, not so much for data
I love anker and their brand, have numerous items from them, but these particular cables seem a tad cheaper than normal for me. I love the 6 foot length and they work great for charging and laying in bed with reach, but I tried them out on the PC the other day for file transfers between my phone and it wouldn't work right. File transfers would get interrupted, not able to view photos, and corrupted files made it to the PC when it did manage to send some. I took a cheaper cable, not even 3.0 spec but with the type C end, and they transferred files just fine with no problems. I would give these 5 stars as with any other anker product, but these don't seem to transfer well. Galaxy S8

Good Cables Are Worth It
I did some research when I got a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S8 - great phone) as I now needed USB C cables for the first time. I read a review of Anker's MicroUSB cables that included a tear-down and I liked what I saw. It looks like Anker has applied the same quality manufacturing to their USB C cables as they do to their MicroUSB cables. Here are the things that really stood out to me:1. Good, solid construction. Neither the USB A nor USB C ends of the cable have any wiggle at all to the connector. There are no gaps between the cabling and the plastic end-cap for debris to collect in, either.2. Strong strain-relief. Very few cables include decent strain relief, which can cause the cable to fray and the shielding to separate over time. I don't see the strain-relief failing on these cables over their lifetime. They're very well-constructed.3. Thick, yet supple shielding. The shielding on the cable is nice and thick, but is made of a plastic that isn't overly-rigid. This gives the cable very little memory, and keeps it from having little bends and kinks in the cable. It feels like a thicker version of the shielding you'd find on CAT5/CAT6 cabling.4. Velcro cord-wraps on either end. This is an especially nice feature. Not only does it make it easy to wrap up the cable and keep it from getting tangled, but you can use it to clean up other cables behind your computer.USB cables are not exciting. Most people barely think about them, but I'm glad that Anker spent the time to make good ones.

TOP NOTCH CABLE! After trying various brands. I'm sticking with Anker.
I used to work at a frys electronics. I have tried nearly most of the popular C cables out there. Yes there are cheaper options. And there are also fancy braided options . But from my experience the stiff braided cables wouldn't give enough power. And the cheaper ones would disconnect frequently. I knew anker was a good brand but the extra 2 dollars for a plain colored never sold me. I finally decided to try it and I'm not screwing around with cheap cables anymore. These anker cables have been so good to me. Solid connection and they stay connected when the cable is wiggled. And full USB 3.0 support. I will be buying there 3 pack for 3ft cables next to scatter around the house.

Great Cables!
I got these because I wanted some extra USB-C chargers and to connect my phone to my PC. Anker makes some pretty nice products. These cables are nice and thick. They definitely feel much more durable than cables that come with your phone. This was a two pack so they came nicely bundled with Anker labeled velcro. Velcro comes in handy for when I throw the cables into my backpack. The USB-C side fits snug and firm into my phone (note 8). I used them to charge my phone and my phone charged in no time at all. The cables are also 6ft long which is nice for me cause i like to use my phone while in bed. There are no connection or charging issues with the cable. Definitely worth the purchase.Check out my photos!

A high-quality cable with a minor con
I bought this cable (the set of two 6 feet cables) for two different tasks:1. I needed a long (minimum 5 feet) cable for high-speed data transfer from/to my Galaxy Note 8.2. I also needed a long cable (6 feet was just OK) for charging the same smartphone. The good part is that the cable perfectly does what it should in both cases: fast charges Note 8 and transfers files much, much faster than the OEM Samsung USB C cable. It also feels solid. It must be said that although this is quite a thick cable, it is not stiff and is easily bendable. And, of course, the price, which is great for a set of 2 high-quality USB 3.0 cables. The only complain is the appearance of the cable. (This is why 4 stars rather than 5.) Let me explain: I’ve been using it for a few months already but it still keeps the initial “bend prints”, which it got in the retail box (see the picture). I mean that despite on the fact that I’ve straightened out the cable several times (right after I unpacked it and a few times more after that) and the cable was never hard bent since I’ve started using it but it still can be easily noticeable how exactly the cable was stored in its retail box. This just doesn’t allow the cable to look as stylish as looks, for example, another Anker’s cable - Anker PowerLine+ USB C to USB A 2.0. (I’ve purchased and then, reviewed that cable too).Verdict: excellent cable and I definitely recommend it, especially when the cable is not a part of your interior.

Cables don't work, don't allow any charging
I thought these cables were going to work well, i've purchased other Anker products in the past. but these cables don't work at all. Not sure if they transmit data because when I tried to use them for charging while driving in my car neither worked. one didn't charge at all, the other was unable to charge at full speed. I tested this with other cables that work fine and charge at full speed for a Samsung S8 phone.

Dangerous!
Be careful purchasing these. I've had two randomly almost catch on fire. Thankfully I was home each time to smell it burning and smoking.

Court circuit

Thick, durable cable
Anker products never disappoint. These cables come in a pack of 2, and they are 6 ft long. The cable is thicker than usual cables, and so it can withstand more bends. It is a perfect length so that it can still be reached from your bed to a plug. The price point is great, as I am still on my first cable, with no issues. The pictured cable is after more than 1 and half years of use. Still going strong.

Customer Service is incredible
I have had these cables for about a year. One of the cables was becoming detached from the usb-c side. I put an email in to Anker and I had a new cable in a new. That cable worked but seemed to not fit quite so snuggly in my pixel 2 xl. i emailed again and was offered another cable. I forgot about it and a week later I received an email asking if i still needed another replacement. I emailed back and had another new cable in a day. Really quite incredible. These cables are heavy duty. Even though I had problems with the cables, they offer the best warranty and their customer service is incredible.
