A Dance With Dragons: Part 2 After the Feast (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Had nice time during early working days of mine. Writing gives quite a clear imagination

I don’t understand how he manages to peak with every book but GRRM is the most dedicated person on this planet. He refused to do a cameo in the final season of Game of Thrones because he has to finish the sixth book, The Winds of Winter. Everyone is not like that. I can’t say anything new about these books. Every book has newer stories, newer places and somehow he manages to connect them all. Thank you, GRRM for all the books so far and the show. Eagerly awaiting The Winds of Winter. It’s going to be cold, I guess.

There are a few areas where the story is not as compelling as the previous books, but on the whole a great read :-)

First of all, if you are looking at this review/book, I need not tell you how awesome " A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE " series is and how George.R.R.Martin is a modern day legend in epic fantasy writing. It is hard to not get carried away when reading his books. I haven't read the entire series yet but I am well on my way. Tell you what. If you love the TV show, you are gonna die for these books. Period. Amazing offer by Amazon. I got the entire set( 7 books ) including this one for a mere 1000 bucks which is dead cheap. Also the delivery is prompt. I ordered these one day and the day after, they are on my doorstep. The packaging was compact and clever but could have been better padded. However the books are fat and squat, so be careful while you read them, lest you break their spine.

5 stars for delivery. The story is not as gripping as other books of the same series. There are few areas where you loose connection and are bored a lil. Overall for story point of view this is 3.5/5. Last of Dany Targeryen chapters are not so much intriguing, you can read 2 pages of beginning of the chapter and last 2 pages and you will understand the whole chapter the majority middle portion of Danny's last few chapters contribute nothing to the story. So overall this book is mediocre and not as great as " Clash of Kings". But we all know we GOT fans will read it not matter what.

A mind blowing book by George Martin. The way he builds up suspension and releases it in bursts of action, disaster, battles and much more is wonderful to read. He describes everything very well and setting is set up spectacularly well. He has built up more suspense and impending doom for the next book. We are all waiting for the next one!!!!

George R. R. Martin's talent for imagining impossibly intricate plots is unmatched. He effortlessly juggles a huge number of characters, themes, and subplots within one master plot.

Dance with Dragons is excellent..however Dance with Dragons 2 is the exact same book! Disappointed when I started to read it thinking it was the next addition to the series. Spent the extra money for nothing! Buyers beware!!!! Correction...It's not the exact same book..only the last half of Dance with Dragons.

Riveting part of the series, only one problem: it's a long wait for the next one. Of you haven't read this i recommend starting with part one if the series. A good series by a fine writer.
