I've been using this for a month now and this is my review... Medidate has been a game-changer for my overall well-being. Medidate has become a part of my daily routine. Absolutely Wonderful! It doesn’t have an exact coffee flavor but is more like dandelion tea, but way better. The taste is delicious. Make sure you filter it well after brewing. It is delicious without adding anything but it was nice with one drop stevia & 2 drops of vanilla extract also. I will definitely continue to purchase this coffee alternative. It’s so nice to sip something warm and comforting again.

It has a fresh and good flavor.

I continue my search for a coffee substitute that suits me. I was very happy with Maya Nut until I discovered its full of tryptophan and making me super sleepy. I am trying this date seen product. It tastes ok and is pretty easy to brew but seems to fall short a little on taste. I brew it by heating a large measuring cup of water, drop a heaping tea spoon of the powder into the cup, stir and let sit for a minute or so. Some times I nuke again it for 30 seconds then pour through a #2 Melita filter into my cup. A few more steps than a powder that just dissolves in water. Overall its pretty good but I will probably keep looking.

It behaves just like turkish or arabic coffee in that it is so finely ground that I did make more than I wanted so I could pour the liquid part into my cup and save the rest for the next day, while the ground will stay in the bottom of the pan. It is fantastic to get my coffee fix without caffeine and just as important without glyphosate. I will be checking out the other products from this brand to see if they have other flavors.

I was skeptical of "dirt"-reviews because I was desperate as my favorite brand (Coffig) is not available as ground anymore and only tea-bags : (. This one tastes like sand. If you've been on the beach on a windy day and had an accidental mouthful of sand, this is the taste... wish I had a garden to use it as compost

The first bag was great until half way through. Truly tastes like date water after that and smells it too. Before when fresh tastes and smells like coffee. Second bag was straight date from the start and mixed with regular coffee to use up since food products are non refundable with Amazon. I wish it came in smaller bags so it would all stay fresh longer.

First off, this is the best tasting “non coffee coffee” that I have ever tried. At first I didn’t like the last few sips because the grounds didn’t dissolve. Now I boil the grounds in water and then place that mixture directly into a filter in my Mr. Coffee. That resolves the issue completely. The coffee is smooth and very reminiscent of superior coffee. I just enjoy a cup in the morning and savor every sip! So happy I found this. Price is a bit high for the amount which almost made me give it four stars instead of five. I might shop around for a better price for a similar date seed coffee. Until I can find a better substitute, this is what I’ll be drinking!
