The band is not too tight actually it's a bit loose I feelcomfortable that way I have used some diff beans before an didn't like how tight it is around my forehead ... this is a good fitting for my regular size head if u don't want too tight. The texture and thickness is just right feels like good quality satin fabric and nice performance and protection against frizzy hair after a nap or sleep.

The material is soft, high quality, and appears to be real satin. But when I sleep in it I have been overheating like crazy. Also the large size came adjusted to the largest circumference and I was only able to make it smaller from there. I like the fabric but I wish it was more breathable.
