Does this contain synthetic fragance (rose) or is it from essential oils?

I was also curious if the fragrance contained any synthetic ingredients so I contacted the company. I received a response from an Eileen at Thayers, she stated "the scent is all natural from the rose petal itself". Hope this helps!!

How is this different from the Witch Hazel you can buy at Target?

Commonly used plant extract that can have potent antioxidant properties and some anti-irritant properties. However, witch hazel's high tannin content (tannin is a potent antioxidant) can also make it irritating if used repeatedly on skin because it constricts blood flow. The bark of the witch hazel plant has a higher tannin content than the leaves. Producing witch hazel water by steam distillation removes the tannins, but the plant's astringent qualities are what most believe give it benefit. 1, 2, 3Alcohol is added during the distillation process, the amount typically being 14-15%. 4 Witch hazel water is distilled from all parts of the plant; therefore, you never know exactly what you're getting, although the alcohol content remains.Depending on the form of witch hazel, you're exposing your skin either to an irritating amount of alcohol (which causes free-radical damage and collagen breakdown) or to tannins, or both. does the rose water break out anyones face?

Yes, the rose water witch hazel makes me break out if I use it on my face. I have incredibly sensitive skin, and basically all rose-based items make me break out. I love both the lavender and cucumber formulas as facial toners - lavender is easier to find - and I reserve the rose for eczema, irritated non-facial skin, hands, and feet.

You product states 'paraben free' yet this is an ingredient: Methylparaben. Please advise?

Grapeseed extract is the culprit here. That ingredient often includes "BENZETHONIUM CHLORIDE, METHYLPARABEN, TRICLOSAN" according to the researchers at the Environmental Working Group. It would be nice if a representative from Thayer's would chime in on this topic.

Best toner available

This toner is worth every single ₹. A bottle lasts me 1.5 - 2 years. It smells great, leaves your face feeling fresh but doesn’t dry or tighten your skin. It makes a significant difference to my occasional breakouts too

Received the Original One...

Thankfully received the original one. Amazing scent, Presentation is also fab. If we use this with tea tree oil believe me guys cystic acne, hormonal acne is nothing..

Not much difference

At first two weeks of usage, of course it did miracle.. My face was bright, feeling light, pores tighten a little bit... With continuous usage of nearly 6 months, my face is back to normal and pores clogged... Discontinued its usage now This product though good reviews r thr, it is not for me.....
