Having it is definitely better than not having it. I get crackling in my neck and the pillow releases it- normally I have to self-massage it. It's cool that it can release it without massaging it. So that means it probably works on the places that i can't reach. Like my back. I didn't get it for me- I got it for my boyfriend who suffers from back pain who I will see in a few weeks but actually now I want to keep this so I think I will buy another one. I don't have pain- I just train a lot in the gym so for me it's more general. I like it. It makes my back red. Temporarily. It releases tension in my muscles. It does that. Definitely. I recommend this as a purchase. I've already recommended it to my friends. This one is nice- good quality- hard enough and nice little bag and pillow. The pillow is worth the extra. Its a very good shape for catching the neck. I think the design has been perfected and we are benefitting from a lot of years of good design work for a rediculously cheap price for the value.

In two minds about this product to be honest... at the beginning I thought it relieved the pain, but I think it was more just laying flat than the actual mat. Been seeing a chiropractor and my back got a lot better.

I get this mat for my mom who struggle with back pain,I tried it by myself to check it of that is painful to lay down on those spikes or not and I must say it is quite comfortable ;) Mat is not big and comes with a storage bag so it is easy to store. Also I spoke with mom and she said her back is not that painful anymore after she started to use a mat so I guess it is really works as mom sometimes had even problems to walk and stand from the sofa and now I can see a difference too

Absolutely delighted with it! I have many back pains etc from trainings and workouts and I use this in the evening before going to sleep. The type of relaxation you feel while using it is something else. Love it.

Got this to relieve back pain, bit uncomfortable for a few minutes (wouldn’t recommend using on bare skin) but starts feeling warm and tingly. Nice when I get off it, feels like I’ve got a new back and relaxes me, good to use if you’re feeling a bit low or have trouble sleeping and does temporarily relieve aches and pains

Nice for circulation and relax muscle.

Does hurt a bit if you do not wear any layers, but the results are awesome. I will buy a couple more as gifts and do certainly recommend if you understand it will be a bit stingy, but no pain no gain :-)
