I noticed last week that my 5-year old original charging cord had an open spot that I had to cover with electrical tape, & shortly after I did, it stopped working. I ordered this as soon as I realized my laptop, Lucile, was dead & not charging no matter how I moved the cord… hoping I just needed a new charging cord. I was right & this is working for my MSI laptop MS-1799. I mainly picked this out of the several on Amazon because it came with the 3 round plug head size options. I liked that I could potentially use this cord for other devices or if it didn’t have the correct size right off the bat, I at least had a few other sizes to try before having to return it & look for a different charging cord. The second head I put on fit perfectly & I’m having no issues as of now. It came with all parts expected. I ordered it Wednesday 9/20 & it came in 2 days - Friday 9/22. It worked for a couple days but then a couple times there would be a sparking noise and a burning smell and my gf63 laptop would turn black and not turn on until it was plugged back in, this just happened again and now the plug for the charger doesn’t connect back to the cord itself

As of about 2 months of use, it is working. Did heat up pretty hot while playing a game but i turned the graphic setting down and it seems to not be getting too hot. So....do I know if it will work for 2 more years, 2 more months, or 2 more days...its working great rn. The adaptors were only useful bc I wasnt sure which I needed but you obviously cant use them all so just extra parts to sit and take up space. Glad my laptop is up. Had to replace the screen right after this. Btw i got a better deal on the screen on ebay by $20

Bought thia after my cat chewed through my old one. It works very well as intended. It can be a bit difficult to change the tips but just takes a little harder pull. Two of the tips were in a small ziploc oitside of the box the cord came in and i thought they were forgotten, so double check the package that it came in to make sure if any parts are hangin out there instead of inside the box!
