Popcorn Fanatic Loves It
I've had a bag of microwave popcorn almost every day for at least 25 years. Black Jewel replaced Jolly Time as my favorite. It was scarce for awhile, so I bought one of these and a popcorn maker. It is SO good! The darker kernels taste a little better to me, but these "crimson reds" are almost as good, and all of them pop. The 'black' leave a ton of kernels, so that's enough to move me to these since the flavor is just slightly less satisfying. My new favorite which has me off of microwave popcorn for the first time this century!

The opposite of no hulls
Pros: Crunchy. Very few unpopped kernels. Mildly nutty flavor.Cons: The false claim it doesn't have hulls. High price.I waffled about giving this popcorn a 3 star rating because the claim of no hulls is just an outright falsehood. In fact, the extra crunch comes from the hulls! Settled on four star because on the upside, the hulls don't seem to ever get stuck between my teeth. That said, I have to use a toothbrush after eating because the little bits of black/red hull stick fiercely to my gum line. I have had other types of popcorn that were truly hull less. Unfortunately, I don't recall the variety.Out of the 2 tablespoons I routinely pop, I only get 4-5 unpopped kernels and a few partials that are edible. The popped corn has a mildly nutty taste as compared to the styrofoam flavor and texture of the regular stuff.

Delicious
Very tasty popcorn that doesn't get stuck in my teeth. I prepare it with a silicone microwave popper.

No hulls in my teeth
I like the fewer hulls and crunchy kernels of white popcorn. Delicious!

Save your money and find another popcorn.
Probably the worst popcorn I’ve had. Tiny popcorn, burns easily. No real flavor.

It’s okay but not great
The popcorn has a good flavor but it is very dense it doesn’t pop up in large puffy kernels. They are small with lots of hard hulls and old maid seeds.

I’m in love with this popcorn!
It’s just corn kernels, right? That’s what I thought. But there is a definite difference in how this pops and how it tastes. I warm up a tiny amount of oil on the stove on medium, and add 3 or 4 kernels. When those kernels pop, the oil is hot enough and I carefully add the rest of the kernels (I use about a Tablespoon), cover the pot and wait for the popping to slow. Oh my goodness…so, so good! Please be very careful if doing this on the stove! This puts yellow kernels to shame. No idea why, but the taste of these kernels is just so very much better!
