Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 2-Virtuosity Walking Shoe

I tried on these shoes at an outlet mall and then found and ordered them from amazon. They are just marvelous. They are low profile and look great with capris as well as jeans. I'm anxious to see how they wash up. I'll post that as soon as I have the occasion to wash them. Loving them so far.Update- a month later: just washed these shoes and they came out great! Just exactly as they were brand new. The bottoms are not as white as brand new- but the rest of the shoe is perfect!Update- three months later... half a dozen washings later and the shoes look great. And they don't take forever to dry. I love these shoes so much, I ordered two more pairs of exactly the same shoe!

The shoes are lightweight and feel terrific. Big problem is the width, they are very wide and look almost like men's shoes. The elastic lacing system doesn't work as it is a closed loop and there is no good way to tighten them, no lock or keeper. I threaded the lace back on itself and that works somewhat. Sketchers needs to put a locking thimble on the laces, otherwise they would have a really great walking shoe!

I have this shoe and a slip on Go Walk. Absolutely love them. While I still use my "walkers" with extra heel padding for lengthy walks, these stay comfy all day long and even when volunteering and walking on a cement floor. They took no breaking in time at all. They are easy on my feet and the walking pressure up into my back that in turn causes severe back pain - with normal everyday wear. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

I own several pairs of walking shoes, different brands. This was my first pair of Skechers and I absolutely love them!!!!I took a risk by buying a half-size smaller because they did not have my size. I was concerned but once I tried them on, I am glad I got the half-size smaller as they are made wide so they fit just fine and my toes have wiggle room. I have a corn on my left foot that is very irritating and gets worse with certain shoes (am getting it taken care of very soon). These shoes do not bother my corn at all.They are the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I own. I don't even feel like I am wearing shoes - I feel like I am walking on air. I like them so much I am going to buy another pair in a different color either white or beige, not sure, but am sure I will be buying another pair.I highly recommend them.

Bought these because wife couldn't find a white shoe that she said didn't make her feet look huge, well these more than satisfied that. The shoe looks small even on her 7.5 foot so she was very happy with my choice. The shoe fits snug enough on the foot to feel supportive without being restrictive, according to her they are by far the most comfortable shoes she's worn for the price and believe me these were a third of the price of some of her sneakers. The sole unit just feels comfortable in my hand so I can understand her love of the shoe on her feet. She is so satisfied that we bought her the black pair also.

Pro: The packaging it came it weighed less than both shoes combined. I conserved that a pro for travel where ever pound counts at check in. I hope they wear as well. Will post update.Pro: Took puppy for a walk today for first time in new skechers and felt like I was barefoot with arch support. Calves feel like they got a workout which they normally don't.Pro: Good soles for traction.Cons: They run big although I do not wear socks. I wish I had ordered half size smaller both for looks and fit although the arch support is dead on.Cons: These are slip ons, no shoe lace to come untied therefore no way to cinch to fit.

Very comfortable! I'm a nurse and on my feet most of the day. These shoes help my feet not to be sore and tired at the end of the day.

I first saw these shoes in a "Best Walking Shoes" article in a popular magazine. These won the "Best All Around" category for comfort and cushioning, and since I am on my feet most of the day I thought I'd give them a try.Let me get the ONE minus (and the reason for the 4-star instead of 5-star rating) that has NOTHING to do with the comfort of the shoe but is just a personal preference: I was disappointed that the photo of the shoe I ordered showed gray and a SOFT pink, but what I received was gray and NEON pink. I mean bright, blazing NEON PINK! Still, the shoes are so comfortable that I am willing to overlook (with sunglasses on!) that one flaw!Otherwise, the shoes are a dream to wear. I have worn some walking shoes that had such hard soles they sounded like cowboy boots walking across the floor. These grippy soles are so soft and "cushiony" that they are absolutely silent, but still give plenty of support. They are very lightweight and breathable, which is good whether you are running errands all day long or fitness walking.My feet are a size 10 1/2 so I had to go to the size 11, and they seem to fit well without slipping despite the smidgen of extra length at the toe. This is most likely because of the "give" in the upper fabric and the stretchy non-tie shoelaces, which let the shoe conform more to the shape of the foot. The lack of a functional tongue to pull up and out makes it a bit tricky to pull these shoes on without having to dig the shoe heel up and out, despite a nice-sized finger hole in the heel (as opposed to a loop to pull). Maybe I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet, but it doesn't make me love the shoes any less!
