The renowned Widow Clicquot
I bought this as a present & it went-down-a-storm! What can one add about one of the world renowned Champagne houses? The wine was, according to the consumer, fine on the palate & had a good aftertaste.. unlike some sparkling wines which are full of injected gas, that 'attacks the back of your throat'. This champagne was smooth, with the 'sparkle' lasting quite a long time after it was opened. Would i buy again? Yes! The champagne was competitively priced & delivered promptly.
