Q: How much weight can you put on top of it?

I am 15stone and I can sit on mine, but I expect it would not do the wheels any good. I have at time stood my HP printer on top, but when it prints it rocks.

Q: From pic I'm a bit confused. Do A4 folders the usual way? e.g. front facing, so you move front to back with the files?

Yes A4 pages fit into folders across the lower large draw I think support rails are not fitted when supplied but included.

Q: Can somebody please tell me the overall height with the casters on from ground level to top? Thank you.

Am sure it states that in the product dimensions. It's 60 cm from the floor on wheels

Q: Why does it specify flexible index tabs should be used? Is the suspension drawer too high?

It's because the clearance between the top of the suspension files and the top of the cabinet is quite tight and solid plastic index tabs are slightly taller than the flexible ones.
