Hi. Below is the dosing for poison per weight. For an eight pound animal it would be a approximately a slight teaspoon. It is actually better to give more than less. For my cats, I mix the VetDtox in water and administer with an eye dropper, with much success. I watch closely if I think that they have been poisoned and if they have not improved much in an hour or so, I will administer again and continue to do so till they are their happy selves again. Dosage for poisoning: 0.75 g per kg body-weight. Approx. 1 Tablespoon per 30 lbs body-weight

Nope usually if it's a lot you will need surgery or veterinarian help as this stuff is only meant for toxic substances.
