The CPF print series belongs to the latest generation of pond filters and combines in a compact system, a biomechanical high-performance filter together with state-of-the-art UV technology. The filter is excavated regardless of the pond edge. The compact design makes the pond technology almost completely disappear. All ports as well as the entire area of technology are located in the top cover. The pond filter can be easily dug out. The pond water can be pumped into higher waterfalls and returns to the garden pond from this point. The pressure pond filter ensures a stable biological balance and improves water quality. Along with the matching pump (not included; please note the maximum volume capacity of the pond pump), this ensures clean water, creating a healthy environment for pond inhabitants. Operating pressure pond filters with integrated UV unit are the combination of biological and mechanical filtration and contribute to the effectiveness of a UV-C pond clarifier. Thanks to their UV radiation, UVC pond clarifiers change the tertiary and quaternary structure of algae proteins and cause their destruction. Algae clump together and thus form large particles that can be easily removed from the water circulation by mechanical filtering of the pond filter pond. During biomechanical cleaning, micro-organisms accumulate in the filter and remove germs and bacteria from the water. Due to mechanical filtration, floating particles and dirt remain in the pond filter and do not return to the pond water. Review: This pump and filter seem to work well for my smaller pond. Very simple to put together I have not seen any leaks, super easy and simple to clean and the price was much better then the other models. The reason I only have it 4 stars is because I’ve notice after a month or 2 the switch that flips it from filter to backwash it becomes very difficult to switch them back and fourth almost the the point that I’m concerned that one day it might break 🤞🏻 but again for the price it wouldn’t be to much of a problem to just buy another one if that were to happen. Thanks to this filter I can hide it as I buried it 2/3 the way underground and I now with proper maintenance and chemicals have a crystal clear koi pond. Oh last thing it says it has a UV light which I’m sure is what the plug in is used for but it’s hard to tell if it’s on or working or when it might go out but my pond looks good the pump runs well although I added a larger one simply for water flow amount coming down the stream. Overall would recommend for a smaller pond or beginner ponds
