GREAT FOR HOMESCHOOL!
We homeschool and these have been so good my youngest children play with the and have lost a couple. Buying 2 more boxes because I need all the letters haha. Sturdy and the right size for 5 year olds and under imo.

Great learning experiences can happen naturally!
These are great!!!! I love that the vowels are a different color. My 4 year old son loves to play with them. A couple of days ago he was “reading” a bob book with my daughter. Afterward without any prompting on our part he went to the fridge and tried to spell sat. He didn’t get it right but I was so happy we had these out and he connected the concept of the letters making the words he had just read! I let him work at it for a bit and then I went and we found the s a t together. He asks me to show him words on it often. We’ve had these a few months and he still is interested. I wish the magnets were a little stronger. They stay just fine but won’t hold anything. But everyone in the house tries since they are on our fridge. The magnets are placed a little odd on some of the letters so every once in a while the letter will sit tilted in the word you’re spelling.

Durable with strong magnets
These alphamagnets are durable and have strong magnets that hold well to my whiteboard. This was my sixth set to purchase in the last few years. The other sets have held up well to years of use by young students. The vowels and consonants being different colors is helpful for students learning the letters and basic spelling patterns.

Nice letters, colors reversed.
Much nicer than my grocery store set. The plastic is slightly thicker than my grocery store set and most of the letters have two magnets versus the one so they are more secure. Magnets probably would not hold up a piece of paper or anything--but they are secure on our magnetic white board. Love the option for lowercase since lowercase letters are more common than uppercase. It is also nice they sell lowercase and uppercase separately for those who use it for moveable alphabet activities. Font is a nice child friendly primary style, another thing my grocery store set did poorly. I like the lowercase "i". The p versus d and q versus b appear to be the same letter with only you changing the orientation changing, I do have to orient them to be able to distinguish between the 4 letters. I like toys that come with their own storage, this box is a little hard to open--which works for me because I use them with my 2 year old. I doubt he will be strong enough to open them on his own anytime soon. It is strange that these are Montessori colored with differing colors for vowels and constants but the reverse of the other tools I have with traditional Montessori colors. I am mostly interested in Montessori INSPIRED activities through preschool and I do not see myself as in it for the long haul but I almost wish they had just chosen 2 random colors if they weren't going to match the traditional colors. I am by no means a Montessori traditionalist and I often think the Montessori color coding is to rigid but the color choice here is still somewhat perplexing.

Great Tool for Teaching Phonics and Syllable types! :)
I bought 3 sets of these letters along with the Primary Concepts, PC-7400 Letter Tile Organizer also sold at Amazon. The three boxes of letters fit perfectly into the organizer. The magnets could be a little bit stronger but they stick to my magnetic boards just fine. I love the fact that the vowel letters are all in red which helps me to teach cvc words and types of syllables. It's a great product at a reasonable price!

great teaching tool
I have bought several of these in the past few years. They are a wonderful teaching tool. Kids love to be able to pick them up and feel how the letters are shaped. Bonus for having a magnet on the back.
