We got our son this light for his bedroom after remodeling . He loves it . The remote makes adjusting it so easy . It comes with a night light setting and can be extremely bright when needed. If your kids are into the led lights I highly recommend this .

The media could not be loaded. This item works great to replace an existing ceiling light. It's easy to install as a replacement, but if you're looking to create an overhead light, you'll definitely need to have an electrician ensure the correct wiring is brought to the installation spot. You might also encounter issues with short screws, short wires or having to adjust the opening where the wires go, so be prepared for that ahead of time.It's very lightweight and basic in construction. Nothing fancy. Once installed, all controls are done through the accompanying remote (3rd photo). You'll need to add the AAA batteries yourself. They don't come with the light kit. You can easily switch between the 4 different light modes, and the brightness levels are fantastic, from the highest down to the nightlight setting. Daylight really illuminates the room (1st photo), and the nightlight is quite low, but you also have a dimming option for perfect customization to your desired setting. The color fade transition mode (video) is quite fun when playing music, and this handy light can transform any room into a fun experience with the touch of a button.Be aware that the LED lights are only around the outside of the ring, but once the light is installed, the lighting blends nicely, and you don't even notice (2nd photo). Overall, the end result is quite impressive.

I replaced our old ceiling light and use this in my home gym. It’s especially fun to leave it on auto as it rotates through the colors.

Look nice and easy controls with multiple modes

It’s OK it’s a little flimsy definitely cheap. It works. It definitely doesn’t work like I thought the control is a little confusing. Installing this, it’s a little difficult because you have to get the two little screws in and you have to do it blind, so it’s hard to line it up. My arms got so tired. I ended up just using a wood screw and screwing it into the ceiling as for wiring it up it’s really easy. There’s only three wires so makes it really simple.

The light works great and kids room.

Cheap build quality but once it's hung up and the RGB light is on it looks very nice. Remote is easy to use.
