As good as you'll get.
After 5 years of playing a Roland El Cajon (review done for this product also) as a gigging performer, I decided it was time to replace it with a new Cajon. For reasons explained in the other review, it would this time, be an acoustic only model as it would be far better for live performance. I did a reasonable amount of research, reading reviews, watching videos and for me, one Cajon was standing out above the rest - this one. It looked exquisite and sounded great. Being a Schlagwerk and in an upper price bracket, I guessed it would be typical German quality too. I wasn't disappointed. This is a lovely Cajon. It sounds superb with great separation between bass and snare. The bass is great especially with the CBT10 Cajon Bass Tube fitted which is a Schlagwerk option. Build quality is superb also. It has an easily removable snare (should you wish to) and a neat little non-slip seat pad which works surprisingly well. The photo is of mine fitted with a Schlagwerk Cajon Foot Pedal and a side attached tambourine.

Bright, clean highs and punchy lows!
Great sounding instrument, as you’d expect from Schlagwerk. Bright high end, and punchy low end. I have many Schlagwerk cajons and this is one of my favourites.
