Wonderful. You won't regret your purchase
These pens are awesome. Granted, being a bristled brush, they are harder to control than many brush pens, i.e. Tombows, but the with practice, this pen can produce beautifully, with nuances that you can't get from many other pens. Plus, bristled brushes are more durable. So, you can work with different material without being concerned about frayed nibs.

Inexensive Incredible Art Tool - with replacement Ink!
The media could not be loaded. I use this product to create "Notans," black and white renditions of a composition to examine whether it works or not. This brush pen is ridiculously awesome. For such an inexpensive 'marker,' it has a nice, pointy tip and has replaceable ink cartridges! This is better than far pricier options. It's clean, doesn't drop glops of ink everywhere. I've ported them around and they don't leak. The ink flows smoothly, the brush lets you make a variety of shapes, thin lines, thick lines, sold coverage. These are amazing brush pens and extremely useful.

A nice brush pen.
This product is a Japanese limited version and it has a lower price. The ink is black. It is NOT waterproof so be aware and do not mess up your work.It comes with 2 cartridges, they have an arrow on them so you know which end to press into the pen. It takes a little while for the ink to get to the brush at first. It is interested to use and has another cartridge to refill it with. I am not sure how long the brush point will last but for the low price it is a fun pen to try out.

It immediately made my drawing better!
I'm not exaggerating -- without any change in skill, my drawings looked better. I've used Sharpie and ball point pens -- and I never really liked it.I think it's the variable line width, which is more like nature. (hardly anything in nature is a single, invariable width) . So, things like leaves, waves, clouds, texture, looks better with this pen. Also, with felt and ball pens, you need to do crosshatch for shade. This pen does shade, if you turn the pen at an angle and do a light stroke. It picks up the texture of the paper. That's also nice for sketching, because it's a lot faster when adding shade.I don't know why -- but it's better than a Tombow brush tip. With this pen, uYou can do a very fine, perfectly dark line. Like a single hairline width - much finer than the narrowest line I can get from a Tombow (or similar) brush pen. .Also, the ink combines perfectly with watercolor, either before or after.

I love it
As a artist in a beginner artist I really found the type of media that I enjoy using which is Penn and ink so this brush is just amazing it gives me a brush without having to constantly dipping it ink because it comes with ink cartridge now you do have to replace the ink cartridge when they run out but you can always buy you a bottle of ink and just fill it up that way but I love to think it's flexible I guess in a pro hands it just probably does phenomenal in my hands as a beginner it's baby steps but I absolutely enjoy drawing with it and doing a lot of my practice warm up drawings with it to get used to it and it's a good way to keep me from drawing with a pencil to stop erasing so yeah if you're into pending or you're just trying to find a good calligraphy brush this is perfect if you're beginner drawing and you're looking for something new to try go for it it's easy to carry no mess that I have to clean up and I absolutely love it

I love this pen, Just be sure to test your medium.
I use this brush pen to ink my illustrations and love the ability to adjust the thickness of my lines without changing pens. I'm able to get dark black lines or lighter by increasing my draw speed and have been using it exhaustively and I have yet to change out the refill from the one it came with. The one thing I did discover is the need for testing the paper you're using, one of my drawing pads absorbed the ink quickly and I had no issues while another the ink doesn't get absorbed as swiftly and smears. I don't see that as a negative for the pen just something to be aware of to avoid ruining a piece of work.
