What's not to love about these locks? Heavy duty design, but they are not too heavy to carry. The key is small and easy to use, and they are effective with any bike. These are designed for larger bikes; perhaps not ideal for young children. But aside from that, it's a great, highly visible theft deterrent.

I've only used this chain once since I purchased it. My plan was to have a chain to lock up my bike for a quick pit stop at a store, park, school or something like that. Not for overnight use or leaving it unattended for several hours. Although the chain is intended to keep your bike safe and the chain is thick, anyone that really wants your property will find their way to break through it. Still take your necessary precautionary measures and lock your bike according to value from my understanding (frame and rear wheel in my case). My frame size is a ML, which allows the chain to only reach enough to hold the rear and frame to a secure object. Forget about the front wheel, you can buy that later if needed. 😉I do have the chain wrapped around my frame, which the material around it make it look nice and protects the paint. I haven't seen any damage to the frame just yet but we'll see what happens from leaving it wrapped there over time. The color is a little different than my bike but that is expected since it is a different brand then my bike. The picture may look like it matches perfectly but my bike's red stands out a little more in person if you are into the details like that. It is all good with me.

This lock is great. I've had one for years and bought this one for my girlfriend and nothing has ever been stolen when locked up with it even in high risk areas. This chain is thick and beefy and undoubtedly helps to convince thieves to look for an easier target.I like how there is some flexibility in terms of where and how you lock your bike due to the chain style. If a bike lock area isn't available I can lock my bike to a tree, a post, a pipe sticking out of a building, whatever. And the lock is strong enough for me to have peace of mind.The one downside is it's a bit heavy carrying it with you, but you can't get great security without weight. I think this lock splits the difference well, being very secure but not insanely heavy.Couldn't recommend it more! Get one if you want to have a strong, secure lock with flexibility and want to be able to leave your bike anywhere without fear.

I purchased this to lock up one of my E-Scooters. It's shorter than I thought it would be so I'm limited as to where I can use it. You can't wrap it around a tree, that's for sure. It has some weight to it, but not super heavy. I use it along with a U lock, for double protection.

If this thing works half as good as it looks than I will be in good hands. I already knew what I was getting because I have seen this particular chain at the bike shop. It is very appealing and also looks intimidating to a passer by. I know all locks can be broken into with a will and the right tools. But jeez this will definitely slow the average thief down a bit. I don't plan on leaving my investment unattended for too long but I want something that will slow down anyone with an agenda. So with that being said I got this for about $20.00 cheaper than the bike shop. So with that I'm pleased. Throw it over my shoulder or in a bag and roll. 2 keys, heavy duty lock and chain with vibrant color. Red.. also I see they have a $500.00 cash guarantee if you register your chain with the company. This lock has some weight to it but its a solid bike lock. Thick chain under a quality cover so no scratches to the bikes. I mean if someone really wants your bike, bolt cutters would get through this but it won't be an easy grab. I would recommend.
