Absolutely loved everything about this red carpet! It was the right width for a runway with plenty room to walk down. It had substantial weight, so it was heavy enough to lay flat and stay in place on grass lawn and still walk on in heels. No breeze disturbed the runner or caused it to move. The color was bright and vibrant. It stayed clean throughout multiple periods of walking on it and was easy to just wipe off any leaves or debris and still looks like new. It also has a rubber backing that keeps off moisture and dirt from bleeding through to the carpet side. More similar to the professional red carpets seen on television awards shows. This is higher quality and I definitely recommend this carpet to anyone that wants a more professional look to their event. I will definitely get this in other colors as well.

The carpet colour is fantastic for creating that regal/Royal look. However, I tried to clean it with a vacuum cleaner and the carpet sheds a lot. The rubber at the back also began to deteriorate pretty quickly leaving “dirt” on the floor. It’s a a pretty decent carpet; however, it’s priced too high. I would buy again if it wasn’t priced so high.

Obviously, you can get "red carpets" for a lot less-- $30 to $50 dollars last I looked. But: those are little more than yardage of moderately heavy fabric. If you intend for people to actually walk on them, you'll have to use double sided tape to keep them from bunching. Really more the idea of a red carpet. This here, however, is an actual area rug with some actual pile and a sturdy, non-slip backing. We used it for a Broadway type production at a high school to dress up the lobby. Lays flat, rolls up easy, and looks good. We'll be able to use it for years to come, instead of throwing away a cheap one (which was going to be a tripping hazard).

You never know what to expect when you order things like this online. I had a red carpet event with the Marketing Manager from HARPO Studios, and I wanted to have everything right. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the carpet, especially because it's suitable for indoor and outdoor use. **These images are NOT stock photos. They're actual pictures from one of my events** I loved it so much, that I purchased another one so I could have one inside the event and another outside. The stitching around the edges gives it a clean, polished look. The fabric keeps the ladies from tripping. If it gets soiled from being outside, you simply hose it off. It's not that "plastic" fiber like you see on someone's porch. Instead it's combination of fabric and fibers to give it a look of luxury, without having the "plush" look. It comes already rolled in a reusable box, so I'm never worried about where I'm going to store it. If you're looking for a quality red carpet, without spending a fortune, this is it!
