The craftsman ship is top notch. The sword is beautiful, balanced, and functional. The sword is priced affordable and could demand a higher price. Seller is very responsive and will assist you with concerns or shipping.I do wish the seller would send a certificate or documentation of the swords creation. Which I have requested.You can not go wrong purchasing the sellers items if he continues to create swords if this caliber. Only thing that could make it better would be to be there to watch him work.

As stated by those above, this Katana is a work of art, well balanced, it does have a bit of heft to it but I like that in a blade craftmanship is first rate, HOWEVER within a week of receiving my sword, the rosewood Saya has bowed to the point I cannot resheath the sword. I suspect it is the grain of the wood selected that has caused the issue as it has much curl to it as opposed to a straight grain, or whether 1 of the 2 pieces of wood the saya is made of was not as dry as the other and as it dried and shrunk has created the bow, I am going to try to contact the maker to get this resolved, otherwise it would be a 5 star, also I wish the saya was without all the metal acrutriments and a bit simpler

I was hoping this would at least prove to be a good "project" sword as I'd purchased a similar one from Eroton and was very pleased with the blade. However... First, as other reviewers have noted, there is no real ray skin or real leather in the wrapping or hangers--it's all very cheap vinyl. The cast fixtures showed promise in that they were attractive and fairly well done. But then I tried to get the blade out of the scabbard. This task actually took a mallet, and the reason why was glaring: The blade had not been packed in oil or wrapped, and was very badly corroded at the edge in two sections, each several inches long, with thick, deep rust. Also, though the Hamon looked real, the visible part of the blade showed no sign of being folded, but as it was not salvageable anyway, I'm grateful again to Amazon's excellent return policies.

It's more decorative than it is functional, blade can cut but really isn't that sharp. The inside of the saya is caked in dirt and dried wax which is a big oversight for any craftsman since they might have overwaxed it.The decorative fixings on the saya are also pretty loosely attached, might need some wood glue or stronger to reattach it once the dust on the seams weaken the adhesive. Blade's a tight fit in so it doesn't fall off of the saya which is one upside to it. Mine came with chip in the blade that's been cracked and rusted over so I had to repair mine. Overall not worth the asking price compared to other more solidly constructed katanas on Amazon.

Love this Katana very well made and the blade is straight and comes razor sharp and comes with a nice bag I even contact the maker and asked him to make me the wakizashi sword and the tanto to match and what a great person he is very pleasant to talk to I'm one happy customer of his swords.

I’m going to start off by saying that I was greatly disappointed by a shipping mistake that ended up having my tracking number switched with someone else’s, making it impossible to tell when or IF my sword was even coming. The seller was very responsive even if their help was not super useful.However, despite all this, the sword is beautiful. Absolutely striking in every way. The Damascus pattern is amazing and the handle and Saya are simply outstanding. NO RATTLING PARTS! 🙏🏻 and there is NO better deal for your money. I would recommend this sword for collectors of all sorts, because it’s simply luxurious and I could not be more satisfied. The bag and cloth were a worthy addition as well. The bag is gorgeous and the cloth is pretty sizable too.

I have no idea why Amazon deletes reviews. It seems so random, or they require pictures?Overall, I have no complaints about this sword. It was a gift for my brother.Beautifully decorates his wall. We have not tested it out but I have cleaned it a few times with Ballistol cleaner.Will update if it rusts or if the steel is of low quality.
