My husband wanted these for his models (space things) and I like having mylar blankets on hand for emergencies. These are of a nice thickness, and the gold color makes them easier to find than silver ones in a survival kit. I was expecting thin/flimsy mylar for the price, but these are actually a good thickness and would be great for keeping in your survival kit, glove box, or even purse, since you never know when you might need it. If you like to build models, these give a nice golden "heat shield" look.

Great for cars in cold climates. I also used it to cover my winter flowers when it was unusually and very cold. I used half a blanket, a black bag and then a towel. Use stakes to keep the cover off the flowers. It worked great and none of my blooms died. It was amazing

Bought these to put a few in my wife's emergency pack that I have put together for her as she travels in all types of terrain in her job. hipping was quick and item was compact and what I was looking for.
