first time putting anything up my butt, to solve severe constipation after days of trying everything else I got this out of desperation. It was amazingly uncomfortable, and I could only use just a little bit of the liquid because it kind of... stung on the inside, but that could be because of my severe stomach upset. I am absolutely amazed people do this like once a week. That being said, even with the little amount I used, it did help a little. It wasn't like opening the flood gates like I was hoping, but it did help things move a little, and the next day I was able to have a regular bowl movement. They also put a lot of... Vaseline? lube? on the insertion part making that part as easy as possible with only the mild discomfort of having to shove something up your butt lol but it was small and didn't hurt to insert. Again though, the liquid inside kind of really hurt my stomach. I have no idea if that is just from my stomach being already messed up or not. But in the end, it helped get things moving. Assuming the liquid wouldn't hurt for you, I'm sure if you (somehow) managed to use most of the liquid in the bottle (its quite a lot), then I'm sure it'd get things moving substantially. Not sure what to do with my remaining 5 enemas now... EDIT: I was able to use it again for the 2nd time due to more constipation. I didn't really have much pain this time so I assume that was from my stomach problems last time. I was able to use more of the liquid (about half) and it moved things much more very quickly. Now I am glad they make you buy several. Good to have these as a last resort for severe constipation.
