I have not found any problems with this product what so ever the fact that you don't end up with shavings all over the place is great, I keep mine in a plastic bag along with a really good rubber that doesn't make a mess when you use it. The 1 draw back is that it doesn't do triangular pencils.

Don’t buy this
Never buy this. It crushed the lead n gave a very pathetic round look. It should have been long n pointed . Highly disappointed.
