I bought these for my kids. They work well, stain teeth and show where they need to brush. I tried one to demonstrate how to use them for my kids and the taste is bad, but my kids don't seem to mind it. It does stain the toothbrush but that's not a big deal. It is easy to clean off the sink and does not permanently stain fabric

The taste isn’t bad and they definitely motivate the kids to brush more. It does stain your tongue purple for part of the day but my kids didn’t mind.

I bought these as a fun surprise for my 9-year old niece who is obsessed with the color pink. She's been struggling to brush her teeth well and since she was coming to stay with me for a week, I thought these would be a fun way to help her improve. We used them together each night and it was a blast! It made her tongue hot pink which made her giggle and the pink stain on the areas she missed really helped improve her teeth. It doesn't taste good, worse than cough medicine, so there was no risk of her swallowing it but she almost spit it out right away the first time. (Pro and con for the taste.) My sister has continued to use these with my niece and there's a visible difference to her teeth after just three weeks. They look much brighter and it's become a fun bedtime routine. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, child or adult, to try even if they think they've been doing a great job brushing.

This was absolutely disgusting. I was the first to try it, and I thought it tasted kind of gross and felt weird, and then I basically had to force my three children to do it, and it felt like I was the KGB. Meanwhile, I was waiting to clean my mouth out, thinking it was kind of gross, but, I wouldn’t have them do it again and we needed to just get it done. I was physically gagging on it trying to brush my teeth afterwards, and one of my girls was close to vomiting as well. I ended up paying the three of them a dollar each in damages for mental trauma afterwards. It does not come off of your tongue very well at all, and several hours and a bunch of dishes later, my fingers are still pink. It’s possible that it would be more manageable if you did like a fourth or fifth of the pill, and it probably would still dye everything, but it takes way more than just a good brushing to get rid of it, and I don’t think I’m going to ever be able to convince my children to do any other style of these plaque disclosures again, thanks to this experience. They all will probably be talking to their therapists years later thanks to this. So the basic issues, disgusting taste, way too much dye, and really horrible consistency. Maybe the company is great, and I don’t know how this is compared to any other plaque discloser, but this is not at all for the queasy in stomach. my stomach still feels gross after that three hours and some food later I am giving this the second star just because it has a return policy and I’m hypothetically getting my money back even though the box was open. Hoping they trash it.

Worked, but stained different than I expected. The staining later longer than I expected. It took a lot of extra scrubbing help from Mom and Dad for my 5 & 7 year olds to get this off. And even then it took a day to fade.

These work great, but ABSOLUTELY rinse as you spit to avoid staining your sink.

These are great for the kids that don’t like to brush.

I bought these for my son to see what parts he is missing when brushing. They definitely show where he misses. I will say it turns your entire mouth purple so do not use if you are going anywhere afterwards.

They taste good! Do it over a sink… with take a lot of water swishes and brushing to remove. Suggest you do this at night!in case of teeth stains! Yes I am an adult…. I just want to use as added insurance . Love them

Was not at all like the ones when I was a kid. They hard core dye everything and all 4 of my children gagged on the taste for over an hour no matter the brushing and rinsing we did.
