This thing is great as long as you get the Lightburn (or other software) settings right. The settings come with device on a printed sheet.Tip - It doesn't do as well with tumblers that aren't the same circumference top to bottom. This is the majority of tumblers. You can easily make yourself a jig in Lightburn. Take the outer circumference of the top of tumbler and create a circle the same size in Lightburn. Then take the outer circumference of the bottom of the tumbler and center this circle inside the other in Lightburn. Then cut this out of plywood. You will get a ring to put around the bottom of the tumbler to hold it parallel to the laser. Put this ring on before putting it on the rotary. Sometimes a little tape (duct, gorilla) will give extra assurance that it stays in place.

Tight fit, adjustable height, easy to put on, take off.

Don't expect to receive instructions to come with these risers because you won't get any, but it's super easy to figure out. The build material is solid. Them giving you 2 risers per corner is perfect so you can make your set up tall for very thick material or just use 1 for items that fall in the 1.5" thick range. I only needed a single riser per corner so I just unscrewed the bottom pad portion to make it slightly taller. I thought the price could've been 10 bucks cheaper before ordering, but now that I have the product, it seems to be priced fairly.

I find the ray5 mini laser engraver to be a valuable tool for my projects. While it provides precise engraving effortlessly, mastering the settings and techniques may take some time and effort. Despite this learning curve, I am impressed with the quality of the engraver and the intricate designs it can create. It has become essential for my crafting and the nice size and great value

I'd I could give a zero I would. I have returned the first set and this is the second set. Tried to unscrew and they won't turn. Drilled a hole in the top of 1 and it's still stuck. I'm not gonna bust out the aluminum welder to weld rod to the top to get out. So far this company is very very bad at quality control. I have bought every attachment for their 20 watt laser. I will try 1 last time and if the new ones are not ready to use then I'm sending everything back and buying from someone else. Funny thing I know 8 people that want the exact setup I bought and all of the want to do stainless coffee cups.I would not recommend the brand or company.

For the price this machine works pretty good! Not meant for anything fancy but for basic engraving does the trick!! Definitely small though. But overall impressed
