Great projector for a great price!
This seemed like a decent quality projector for a decent price when I first saw it on Amazon. The reviews weren't too bad either so I decided to buy it. I actually really like this projector!!! I can easily hook it up to my laptop to watch movies/shows. The whole thing is just really easy to use. The picture quality is honestly pretty good, I have no complaints about that. The only thing I don't really like is the internal fan is pretty loud so sometimes it can be annoying or hard to hear what I'm watching depending on the audio quality of the movie. But other than that it's really great!

Nice projector as tv alternative
Kind of easy to setup. The most useful input is HDMI. My usb3.0 128GB drive is not recognized, but a smaller usb2.0 drive works perfect.Funny thing about projects is their prices range from sub hundred to a few thousands. I know the details about traditional tv but not as much for projects. This makes me very hard to decide which projector to go with as the first one. Luckily this projector comes with great price and performance, and helped me set up a baseline for future projector choice (probably after a year, based on how often we use projectors). The projector was shipped fast and small enough. I can easily find a space to store it.

A very versatile machine, perfect for most any needs. A real keeper!
My initial impression was that the unit is smaller and lighter than I expected, 3"h x 6"d x 8"w, and only two pounds. The colors are bright and vivid with good illumination; a great overall picture. The controls are easy to use and understand. The instructions are well written and in-depth. I would forget about using the unit's control buttons. That only serves to shake the picture while in use. That's what the remote is for (WHAT? NO AAA BATTERIES INCLUDED?). I guess if you have no batteries, or they run out, you can always use the case controls. I really like this projector. The Flip button scrolls through all upside down and backwards combinations, allowing installation in any position. I'll be using mine for watching movies and doing some wall art mural tracing, which should work out very well considering all of the great features built into this unit. Let's talk about the good stuff first. The focus works very well. I set the closest distance I could to see how close it can be to the wall, and that ended up being about 40", which gave me almost three feet diagonal on the wall. It has a great 1080p picture through the HDMI input; very sharp. The keystone trapezoid correction works pretty good. But, the focus can be a little bit off near the edges at or near full correction. I wouldn't say the fan is exceptionally quiet, but it certainly is not bothersome. No troubles at all reading various file types, MP3, MP4, TXT, JPG, etc. With mixed file types on a thumb drive, you can choose the files you want to see. The menu even gives you a small preview prior to hitting play. I like all of the menu-driven settings and options. After reading other reviews, I was really quite surprised at the quality of the audio. I tried voice, music and movies, and it all sounded very good. It sure is great to have that speaker output for bigger rooms, though. Just to be sure, I tested it, and it worked fine. Now for some constructive criticism. I wish the tripod mount had an index indentation like on most cameras. That way, it wouldn't swivel so much on the mount. The height adjuster goes up only about 1", it could use a bit more. The USB 2.0 input port cannot handle 60 fps video, or anything much over a 12,000 kbps data rate of mixed audio and video output. Only quiet 30 fps videos will work ok. So, you'll have to slow down your shooting frame rates if you want to show your videos via USB, which I do not suggest anyway due to the combined size and speed limitations of flash drives and this unit's 2.0 port. The USB input port really needs to be a 3.0/3.1 port so it can run full frame data rates with complex audio. The A/V and VGA inputs are good, but don't seem capable of displaying over 600x800 resolution. It still looks very good. I did not have a microSD or TF card to test, so I can't really say much about that. My guess is that those cards can input faster than the USB 2.0 port. The input method to attain the best picture quality is using the HDMI port. It looks fantastic! I only used video input via an HDMI cable (direct via PC), no audio. But, I'm sure the audio will work, too. The lens cover keeps falling off, rendering it almost entirely useless.I'm keeping this baby, that's for sure! I'd give it five stars if it had USB 3.0 input. That was the only thing that really bothered me.

I love it despite compatibility issues...
...things you can say about a projector, but not your spouse hahaive had this thing for a little over a year, I've been super satisfied with it. i also got the amazon firestick and everything was just plug and play, got all your streamers and apps. i did use an aux to a small speaker as the sound quality is pretty lacking just out the box.which was strange... i felt like i could barely hear it in my room but then housemate knocked on the wall cause it was too loud. i even checked, when i left the room, outside the door it was clear as day but in the room it was muffled...? but the aux/speaker setup solved all those problems. i could hear it clearly in my room and housemate couldn't.the ONLY complaint i have is.... where can i find compatible cables to hook stuff up to it?? ive tried rca, hdmi, usb.... none of them worked!! then you try to search for other cables or more info and it all just redirects you here to this amazon page or to clone pages that don't mention anything new or suggest anything helpful. no, i don't want to connect an iphone, i want to connect a blu/dvd player or a game console! it shouldn't be this complicated!(if you do want to connect an iphone, there's plenty of search results for that)quite honestly if that firestick didn't exist i probably would have returned the projector out of sheer frustration that none of the ports gave me a dvd menu when all hooked up.you might be thinking, maybe its faulty cables or the dvd player itself, but no, cables were brand new (purchased after the projector) and dvd player worked elsewhere...

Just plain irritated at this point!!
UPDATE: After some advice from other owners of this projector, I tried the computer speakers, and I still can not get any sound! I’ve tried multiple speakers with no luck! The projector itself has no sound at all, and any speakers we hook up to it (that do work) just will not give any sound (again they do work because we use them often)! I’m Very unhappy and now unfortunately I have missed the deadline to return it, so I’m stuck with a worthless projector and out money! Yay NOT! My kids are so upset as well! Ugh 😫Unfortunately I could not get anything to connect to the projector except for my fire stick 😔 Also the speakers on the projector do not work and I can not get any speakers connected, including a surround sound speaker! We’ve played around and tried different cords and settings, but still no luck! If anyone can give me som advice or anything I’d appreciate it, but if not I’m returning it and getting a better one! The only thing I can say was decent is the Picture!
