I wish the people who published this book understood just how valuable an interactive media form would be. This is a life saver for any technical minded person who needs to design and build a house from scratch. My first home design went through the county permits process with out so much as a noted recommendation and I have never been the recipient of any form of training whatsoever. Now, by the grace of God I may be able to save myself and my family from certain financial ruin. BUILDING CODES ARE VERY DRY AND SOMEWHAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND SOMETIMES, KIND OF LIKE PAGES FROM A LAWYER. I WAS NEEDING SOMETHING TO HELP ILLUSTRATE THE CODES FOR ME SO I CAN LEARN THEM BETTER TO BE ABLE TO PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE MORE. I BELIEVE I HAVE A MORE THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK.

It could be more comprehensive. Unfortunately, It doesn't cover most of the code related subjects.

Great book for telling about the code and how it is applied. I like to work and upgrade buildings and this book tells me how to do the properly so I can get the building I'm working on inspected with no problems.

Good reinforcement of the Code, would be great for someone starting out.

EXCELLENT BOOK

This book is a must for a designer. The visual diagrams are a tremendous help to understand the written technical language.
