Mike's Mix Sports Hydration Electrolyte Drink, 4 lbs-Lemon Aid

I compete in endurance events and spend many hours at a time training. Fluid intake is important for my performance, yet I found I wouldn't drink enough. I tried Gatorade which was just thick and nasty. I tried cutting it with water and then G2. I found this product and am thrilled with it. It tastes good to me and I WANT to drink often. I actually find myself extending some of my rides just to finish my bottle. It mixes easy, great price and most importantly, increased fluid uptake for me. Thanks for a great product!

This is the best sports drink around. Flavor is great, seems to hydrate really well during intense workouts. Also the best hangover helper/cure that I have ever used. It has helped me numerous times to go from feeling like a 1 or 2 to maybe a 7 or 8. Dual purpose and it is all natural none of the fake colors, flavors, sugars or BVO. Whether you workout, drink alcohol or both this stuff works great! Mike's makes great products, check out their recovery drinks as well.

This mix taste great and mixes well with water. It does not have any dyes, artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners in it. But the sugar content is pretty high for me. That is the only disappointing part of this sports drink as the sugar content is 33 g for one large scoop. I dilute it with more water, but if they could get the sugar content down then I would be a regular supporter of this drink.

I have reluctantly finished a container of Mike's Mix. It is positive that there is no food coloring but there are no electrolytes and it's way too sweet for me. I do ride in the Florida heat so I like a little more Na, K and Mg but my impression is that this is 98% sucrose.

When I first opened the container it smelled like soap and I was a little nervous to try it. I was a little upset I spent the money I did for a horrible tasting drink. When I actually tasted it, it tasted nothing like the smell!! It tasted exactly like lemonaid and one of the best flavors I have had next to the chocolate. This tasted exactly like chick fil a’s lemonaid. So so good.

I discovered this sports drinks a couple of months ago and I'm hooked. I've been a long time user of the Mike's Mix chocolate recovery drink so I thought that the sports drink was worth a shot. I now use it exclusively for my road bike rides. It mixes easily and is not overly sweet like other brands that I have tried. I like the electrolyte to sugar ratio and feel that the mixture does what it is supposed to.

Mike's Mix has been a favorite for many many years. Excellent product at a fraction of the cost of other more popular (less quality) brands. Thanks, Mike! Climb on!

Taste's good, definitely keeps you hydrated, however has a few too many calories for my personal preference. Of course my goal with cycling is to loose weight. If your already fit and just wanting to maintain this would be a great item.
