In high school before I was even able to grow a beard, I knew that when I did grow one that it would have to be well kept & always neatly trimmed. By the time I hit my late teens, I had a full beard which came with many times of trial & error when it came to keeping it visually sharp. I developed a nicely skilled technique over the years using hair clippers that was good enough to make others think a barber did it when it was indeed my own work but at times, I would go too deep/too low on one side or the other resulting in taking the higher side down lower to match the correct side which would continue sporadically until eventually being forced to shave it off & start new growth all over again.Fast forward to my early 40's, gray hair started coming in so in order to look younger yet keep some facial hair, I dropped the full beard look (though I sometimes pick it back up during winter months) and started sporting just a moustache & goatee. It is much faster & easier to keep up than a full beard and for the most part, I make less mistakes but I was almost certain to sooner or later have a crooked outline of the area between the bottom lips & just above the chin with each shave trying to make it just right. I would stand in the mirror trying to get perfect symmetry only to find it lop-sided so I took to the other side to straighten it out with a high success rate most of the time....however, sooner or later I would be forced to shave it all off & start freshEnter this product @ 49 years of age. I have used it 3 times and so far, I have an absolutely perfect lineup in that area...one that I have ALWAYS struggled with ever since I started shaving as a teen. it is pretty much mistake proof if you take your time and be sure to put the template in the same place on your hairline everytime you line up. It is a bit awkward at first as it takes some getting used to but a perfectly lined-up goatee is a must so it's worth the extra effort and keeps me from staring into the mirror looking at a mistake and I save time in the process. Nice

For the price, you get a blow-molded plastic template in a plastic bag with a brochure mostly promoting other products. There's obviously a big markup and huge profit margin with this product.I bought this for a male friend, but he tried and couldn't use it since it very poorly fit his face, Out of all the photos and videos produced by this company I never found one where anyone actually used any of the products. It's all simulated and very misleading. It's also disappointing it doesn't seem to be as advertised.Several other men tried this and got the same results. It didn't fit their faces properly or as advertised. I also heard it was it was difficult to use and easier to freehand it.I don't know who the "top engineering talent" was behind the design on this, but they missed the mark on this - at least from 5 different men's perspective.I couldn't even give this thing to anyone. Since I am a female, I now how something no one wants and I can't use it.

This product is actually one size fits all. I ordered another one for my dad. The the length and width gives me enough room to shape my goatee and fits my dad too! He is excited to get this tool to guide his trims for facial hair. I can’t complain about the price either cause other ones on the market are more expensive and honestly not that nice looking lol. It’s a good investment for this who rock goatee

It’s too small. I read the other reviews with this same complaint but I thought I had a smaller than average face. So even if I’m wrong about my face size, I know I don’t have an overly large face, therefore, it’s too small.If it were bigger, it would still need a reference line at its middle to aline it properly. If it had a tab or something that you could use your teeth to hold it in place would be a big improvement.

Goatee’s are my thing. I always have had them so when I saw this RevoGoatee I was interested.Product came in cool little packaging. Gets the job done, can’t complain.The product itself is very well made. I got my dad the other revo products (RevoBeard) and it’s the same good build quality. Tapered edges make it easy to cut along the hairs. Other copy cats don’t have this feature. Revo products are definitely the real deal.

Template is not one size fits all. If I were to use this it is only suitable for the chin portion of the goatee. It does not help with the sidelines - in fact the template with leave you with a mustache and a chin patch only.
