Love everything about these prenatals!
Long overdue review. Purchased again! First thing I love is that it has methyl-folate, dha and iron, as well as 100% of the daily value for other great vitamins. These prenatals don’t make me feel nauseous at all! No weird aftertaste, no uncomfortable fishy burps either. So they’re easy to keep down.I agree that they can be a bit smelly, but scent is really not that bad. Honestly, what I really care about is that they don’t make me nauseous after taking them.Thank you pink stork for having such a great product priced reasonably! 5 stars!

Comprehensive, Gentle, and Thoughtfully Formulated — Pink Stork Does It Right!
I’ve been taking Pink Stork Total Prenatal + DHA throughout my pregnancy journey and absolutely love it. Here’s why it’s earned a permanent spot in my daily routine:⸻✅ All Essential Nutrients in One Easy-to-Take CapsuleThis prenatal delivers 100% of 14 OBGYN-recommended vitamins and minerals, including methylated folate (L‑methylfolate), iron, choline, B‑complex, vitamins A, C, D, E, zinc, iodine, plus 200 mg of vegan DHA (from algae) — all in just two capsules a day.⸻✅ Gentle on the Stomach & ConvenientThese are small, easy-to-swallow veggie capsules that go down smoothly—no nausea, even during the first trimester. They’re gentle enough to take with food and don’t upset my stomach .⸻✅ Thoughtful, Quality Ingredients• Methylfolate: Uses L‑Methylfolate/Quatrefolic — more bioavailable than folic acid and avoids metabolism issues for those with MTHFR mutations.• Vegan DHA: Sustainably sourced from algae to support baby’s brain and eye development.• Choline & Iron: Essential for neural development and healthy blood oxygen levels.• No GMOs, gluten, soy, or dairy; third‑party tested; female‑founded and woman-run company—values I appreciate.⸻✅ Smells & Tastes PleasantEach bottle includes a heart-shaped “ScentCert” (in berry or mint essence), which makes the capsules smell fresh and pleasant—no dreaded vitamin aftertaste.⸻🚫 Minor Downsides• Requires two pills per day, which is manageable but compared to all-in-one gummies or liquids is a small step up in effort.• It’s a capsule, so not ideal for those who dislike swallowing pills—though the size is small and swallowable.⸻📝 Final TakePink Stork Total Prenatal + DHA strikes the perfect balance of completeness, quality, and ease. From the thoughtfully sourced methylfolate and vegan DHA to the gentle veggie capsules and fresh scent, it ticks all the boxes for me. I feel confident knowing it covers every nutritional base recommended during pregnancy. Would recommend to any expecting or trying-to-conceive mom! 🌸

Easy to take and great ingredients
These prenatals are great! They are the only pills I don’t have to choke down because they are berry flavored. I also love that it is a Christian based brand. The ingredients are also hard to beat! Overall I would recommend!!

This product caused my irregular menstrual cycles, acne, and other symptoms!
I purchased and began taking this product preemptively because my husband and I plan to try to conceive in a few months (My doctor, like many doctors, recommends beginning to take prenatals before you try to conceive). However, taking this product caused me to have irregular menstrual cycles, as well as many other negative symptoms and side effects. I do NOT recommend this product for that reason. If you decide to try this product out before you try to conceive and begin to experience the same symptoms I did, I recommend stopping immediately - your symptoms are likely to get worse, not better, the longer you continue taking it. I've shared my story below in case it's helpful to anyone who may be experiencing similar symptoms and wondering if this product is the cause. As background information, my cycles always have been extremely regular. After I began taking this product, however, my cycles were instantly thrown off and I'm still trying to recover over six weeks later. Here's the timeline of events:Cycle 1-I received the product and began a half dose (one pill) once a day (I figured a half dose would be fine, and I could up the dose closer to conception/pregnancy). I began taking the product about a week into my cycle.-On day 2 of starting the product, I began to have odd symptoms - feeling hot, jittery, extremely hungry, and generally off; On day 4, I ovulated 2-3 days earlier than I usually do (confirmed by OPK strip); on Day 5, the above symptoms had increased, and I also had an itchy neck (presumably thyroid-related due to location).-I decided to switch to taking one pill every other day, but by that time I already ovulated early (confirmed by OPK strip); my period also came 2-3 days early that cycle as well. I also started to get massive acne breakouts towards the end of my cycle, which is unusual for me.Cycle 2-I continued to take the product every other day for about a week into my next cycle (still just one pill, so a half dose every other day). My symptoms, while not as bad as they were during the stretch when I took the product for five days straight, were still present and still negatively impacting my quality of life. I decided to discontinue use.-After discontinuing use, I ovulated 8 days later than I normally do (two weeks after discontinuing the product completely). My acne breakouts cleared up over the course of two weeks. My appetite issues and jitteriness went away within a few days of discontinuing the product.-As of now (Day 31 of my cycle when I normally have very regular 28 day cycles), I am still waiting for my period to come, and expect it to be (very) late as well, since I ovulated very late.As you can see, this product had a very negative affect on me, which is especially concerning given that I only took a half dose, and quickly switched to a half dose every other day for the month or so that I took it. Nothing else about my life or lifestyle changed during this period of time, so this product was 100% the cause of my symptoms. To be honest, I don't know for certain why my body reacted this way to this product. However, I have seen other reviewers comment that this caused irregular cycles for them as well, so I know I'm not the only one this happened to. I do have one theory, however, because I've taken all the vitamins contained in this product before with no issues except one: Iodine. I have not taken supplemental iodine prior to taking this product, so I have to assume that's the source of the issue. The fact that I had an itchy neck (since the thyroid is affected by iodine intake) further supports this theory, as does the fact that reproductive hormones are impacted by changes to thyroid hormones.I am not an expert in this area, but it appears there is a high dose of iodine in this product (290mcg); this meets or exceeds the RDA of iodine for pregnant women (220-250mcg) and lactating women (250mcg-290mcg), and given that we already get some iodine from food, would likely put anyone consuming it above the RDA. (All figures from the American Thyroid Association). I only ever took a half dose, which would be 145mcg; the RDA for non-pregnant adults is 150mcg a day. Lastly, I have seen conflicting evidence on the tolerable upper limit, but 1,100mcg of iodine seems to be a commonly quoted number.I don't have enough information to say definitively why taking in 145mcg of extra iodine affected me so much, but I do believe this was what caused my symptoms. I do not know how this extra iodine would affect me during pregnancy, so I plan to purchase different prenatals with lower amounts of iodine and playing it by ear.
