Like everybody I have been stripping wires by hand for ages, using a sharp stanley style knife and some pliers, but when faced with this adapter to strip and re-solder I decided enough was enough and so made the jump to invest in some professional wire strippers - and boy am I glad I did! These are quite frankly game changing in how quickly and accurately they can strip wires - I didn't even have to make any adjustments straight out of the box as they auto adjust and worked straight away with all the different wire sizes used in the photographs I'm not sure about the cheaper ones, they might be just as good, but I did a bit of research on the Internet before buying these and the choice of professionals seems to be "blue handled Kleins" If you are thinking of buying these, I would say do :)

Klein Tools is a great brand. I have bought several Klein's tools all of great quality and this stripper is no different. This wire stripper saves a lot of time if you strip wires frequently. I was working as a control panel builder that's why I bought it and it made my work much easier and faster. No need to worry about the wire gauge (size), and can strip couple of wires of the same size at once too! (mostly I used it to strip 2-3 16 AWG wires) Also can be used to strip the sheathing of Romax cables! The only thing to be aware of is that, for some wires which have extra insulation (transparent insulation) it might not strip them well, as you might need to use it couple of times for it to work, and it will damage that insulation as well (at gripping spot). In my case, using such wires was rare so it wasn't a problem.

Excelente pinza pelacables, de muy buena calidad, lo compre para usar en cable del 10 y con unos ajustes en un tornillo sin problemas pelo el cable sobretodo no le quitó hilos al cable, es algo cara la herramienta pero vale la pena.

Great product. Sturdy and feels good quality in your hands. Precisely cuts the insulation without damaging any copper strands. I'm so impressed that I am gifting 1 to my brother.
