I was questioning the real value of something like this for a non-lethal home defense option. Matching it up with a mag full of pepper balls, and backed up by second mag full of kinetic ammo, this fits the bill nicely! Higher quality that the cheaper units, fits the hand well, and so far seems to be reliable. Extremely easy to load and fire, didn't have to go into a major training course for the family. Overall very happy with it!

This is a great non-lethal launcher, it feels and weights like a real bam-bam, very easy to use, this kit came with all you will need to start but you might consider looking into getting a higher capacity mag and also get some extra air cartridges. We will be shooting a video of this and I will provide some feedback and hopefully a video as well to go with it.

A non-lethal air pistol that is not required to be licensed as a firearm. Shoots plastic balls, steel balls and pepper spray balls using CO2 cartridges. Perform quiet target practice in your own backyard with a proper target backstop. Legal in most all states, with some exceptions. Open carry in States where legal. Fire off projectiles rapidly with CO2 pressure up to the magazine limit.

This was my email to Shawn Hannity and Glenn BeckYall advertize Byrna products every day....I decided to buy one. I ordered it from "The Byrna Store" on Amazon...First I looked at the Byrna.com web site for the Sean Hannity discount or other discounts. . That discount only applied for the less powerful model. If I am going to use something for self defense, it only makes sense to have the most powerful model.I ordered the better LE model at a cost of about $550 with tax...The next day I ordered more products from Byrna.Com. I ordered a holster, belt clips and Max projectised (pepper balls) for a cost of around $175.The following day, 2 days after receiving the Byrna LE I tried it out. What I received was a defective product... Apon shooting the first shot, all the CO leaks out in about 2 seconds. I tried 4 CO cartridges, with the same result.I decided that if Byrna sends out defective products, I don't feel very confident about the product possibly saving my life.Turns out, if you buy a product from Byrna, and it does not work, your only option is to send it back for inspection.I first contacted Amazon and they told me to contact the Byrna Store.The Byrna store, told me to contact Byran for warranty and they could not let me return it for a refund because Amazon took the payment. I would need to contact Amazon.So, I contracted Amazon again and they will not let me return it for a refund.So, then I contracted Byrna, and the runaround continues. Because I purchased it off Amazon, they can not do anything except let me send it in for inspection.I have expressed to Byrna that after receiving a defective product, I do not feel comfortable on relying on it during an emergency.At this point, my only option is to send it back to them to inspect it.And I find it concerning that they are not very concerned about their quality control and say "Well, we make 100s of these".There are other options on the market.
