Q: Is this organic? Or do the ducks get antibiotics and raised inhumanely?

I don't know for sure, but I choose to think that they were free range, fed only the best duck food with only green ingredients, allowed short, but meaningful flights, and generally pampered as much as you can pamper a duck. Treated with respect and honor, then killed.

Q: What are the ingredients?

Only duck hearts. They add nothing to them, just freeze dry the tasty little nibblets.

Q: The duck hearts I received are kinda squishy, and when shaved are the consistency of cardboard. Is this how they should be or have they gone bad?

These hearts are freeze dried so I believe the texture described in normal. I find I can pretty much crumble them into (almost) a powder in my hands. Assuming the vacuum is intact when you open the package and you keep the remainder cool and dry ( I keep mine in a zip-lock in the freezer.) they should keep for weeks. Signs of spoilage would include moisture, mold, or funky smell. We have bought these multiple times and our Labrador loves them. Hope this helps.

Correct, it is 100% duck heart.
