Cool and comfortable fabric
These tank tops are made with bamboo rayon fabric which means they are silky smooth and very cool and comfortable. They fit me well and I can be very picky with the fit of shirts. They didn't shrink on the first wash which is a plus. The price isn't too bad for the fabric and the quality.

Comfortable!
I sweat like crazy even in just thin scrubs at work. I have an old Airism tank from UNIQLO which is really helpful, so I decided to give these a try. These are great quality - no itchy tag, soft and lightweight, doesn’t shrink in the wash (though I wash on cold and dry on low heat), good at helping my body temp stay more regulated. I wish the neck and arm seams were a little less bulky to be more discreet, but it’s not that big a deal. The only surprise was how big they run! I’m used to having to size up with Amazon stuff because clothing always runs small. In my Airism tank I’m an XL and that’s a VERY snug fit, and I’m pretty husky, so I thought 2x in these would be best. I easily could’ve gotten away with an XL or maybe even L - the 2x are VERY baggy and loose. Ultimately it’s a good thing that these are relatively accurately sized, but I had no idea!

Soft, stretch, comfortable, fits just right
I had a set of different brand similar style (but ribbed) bamboo rayon undershirts that I loved, but they were discontinued in 2020 and have not returned. The old shirts were well past their replacement date, but I could not find any similar material in stock anywhere (I could buy the same thing in cotton all over the place, but only cotton, which I tried and found scratchy and annoying, so much that I kept wearing my ratty older ones instead of the new cotton ones!) for a couple years of periodic checking, due to supply chain issues I'm sure. Finally I found these and was disappointed when they looked perfect but were not ribbed, but the fabric and fit looked right so I gave them a try. I saw a suggestion that I might need the large, as I wear a lot of large shirts now, but went with medium as I prefer a tighter fit. The medium is about as perfect as it could be on me, the fabric is amazingly soft and stretchy as well, and it made me forget all about the ribbed variety I had before. I immediately bought a second set so I could have a full week with some spares, and archived the old shirts for a while for a rainy-day when the washer is broken or something. The shirts are a bit on the long side, but so were the ones I had before that I liked. They stay tucked in with no reason to ever come lose, and the extra fabric also adds a little weight to keep them from pulling up. I'm kind of sad to take them off each day because they feel so soft, and they're still thin enough to be invisible through clothing. Size-wise they hug my torso perfectly without being tight or lose, with basically no wrinkles. So far, care is tossing them in the wash and dryer normally with other whites. Long term my only concern is yellowing pit stains, which developed after heavy wear of what I had previously, but with only a couple of weeks of wear on these, I can't comment on longevity yet. It seems likely that a combination of sweat and antiperspirant will yellow these like most after a while, but that's no different than anything else. Some other review noted these can't be bleached like cotton or they'll yellow, which is good to know if true. Will probably wear until they're ready for replacement and buy more (hopefully they'll stay in stock!) They're a bit on the pricey side compared to plenty of the all-cotton varieties from several brands, but they feel amazing enough to be worth it!

Soft & Wicks moisture well - Sizes tend to run large
Why is it so difficult to find a decent A-shirt/tank top anymore? Here's a common problem I run into. I'm 6'1", 265 lbs. In most department store brands, if I go with an XL cotton tank it only fits well when I first put it on. By the end of the day, the collar & arm holes are sagging so much it doesn't even serve the purpose of an undershirt. But, if I go with a L size, it's too short and won't stay tucked in all day. There's only been one brand (Fruit-of-the-Loom) I have found where the XL size stayed firm and was long enough to stay tucked in - but the cotton fabric is so course and scratchy that I'd rather not wear it as an undershirt. This was my dilemma, until now... This is the best overall tank top I have yet found! I was skeptical about the bamboo-rayon fabric's ability to hold up to washings (I wash in warm water, low heat in dryer), but so far it seems to have held up with very minimal shrinkage. The XL fit exactly as it's supposed to, and is long enough to stay tucked in throughout the day. The fabric is very soft and smooth, and wicks perspiration extremely well. I live in Tucson, AZ, and first wore this as an undershirt in 94 degree heat - I was cool with it on and it never got overly damp (our 8% humidity might also have something to do with that), but it seems to remain dryer than my cotton undershirts. Yes, as noted in some of the other reviews these A-shirts do come out of the dryer very wrinkled. But it's an undershirt. After wearing it for 30 min, the wrinkles are pretty much gone. If you have to have a perfectly wrinkle-free undershirt out of the drawer, just fold it immediately upon removing it from a warm dryer. That did the trick. I love these A-shirts, just wish they were made in the U.S. instead of China. Update 8/3/21: I still really like these A-shirts, and they wear really well. However I actually wear my undershirts UNDER another shirt, and prefer them to fit snug. If you want a snug fit, go a size smaller (or even two, unless you're very tall). The fabric stretches easily. I'm 6'1" and lost some weight since my last review & am now at 220 lbs. The XL is way too big now. The L, not a terrible fit but not snug. I actually had to go down to a M. Even at 6'1", the length on the M seems to be o.k. and the fit is snug with minimal stretch.

All around great
So I was looking for an undershirt with better quality than the Amazon undershirts I just purchased and more cost effective than my Tommy Johns. I wanted quality closer to the latter without the sticker shock. My Amazon basic tanks were too short (never stayed tucked) and felt like they were one wrong pull from tearing. I’m happy to say that these checked all the boxes: quality material that is comfortable, stretchy fabric that I can take off without fear of ripping it, great length that stays tucked, and athletic fit. I’m 6’2”, 230# with muscular build and size L fits great.

Fit is true to size, mi 5'6 160~ pounds and a medium fits comfortable, not too tight and not too loose. Material is ultra smooth, and high quality too. Value wise it might be a little expensive for just 3 shirts but it is good quality and comfortable. David Archy doesnt disappoint!

Honestly I LOVE these undershirts. I am a bigger guy, 6'4", and ~250lbs. All my life I've never felt comfortable wearing undershirts. They're all so tight and unflattering. But these shirts are awesome. They feel cool and silky-smooth on my skin. They also somehow are more flattering to my body shape. I actually feel GOOD wearing these, instead of self-conscious. They actually do wick away sweat. You don't have to have that moist-back feeling throughout the day whith these. Both the sleeveless and the t-shirts are great. I bought some of each. Love them love them love them.

I recently purchased the DAVID ARCHY Men's Tank Top Bamboo Rayon Undershirts after having a great experience with their underwear, and I am thoroughly impressed. The material is incredibly soft, providing a smooth, luxurious feel against the skin. It’s perfect for hot days, offering a cool and breathable fit that keeps you comfortable throughout the day, and doesn't give you that itchy feel that other brands do. One thing to note is that the tank tops do run slightly large. I would recommend considering this when selecting your size to ensure the best fit. Despite this, the overall quality and comfort make these tank tops a fantastic choice. In terms of value, these undershirts are an excellent buy for the price. The combination of softness, durability, and the cooling effect makes them a staple in my wardrobe. If you’re looking for a comfortable and high-quality tank top, I highly recommend giving these a try.
