I found it to have a strange aftertaste. I've had purchased a different brand before and it was excellent. I use a tablespoon and melted it and drizzled on a rib steak and it ruined the flavor of my steak. Is there additives in it now? Super disappointed.

I bought this exclusively for a brisket but soon found out I needed this tallow for everything.

About six months ago my husband and I began a carnivore diet where we only eat meat. (And I mean ONLY meat - no vegetables, no fruits - ie, no sugar or carbs.) This product was recommended to use for cooking and adding flavor. And we used it for both. What I like: Adds a lot of flavor and moisture to meat What I don't like: Hard as a rock and difficult to get out of the container When we first started the carnivore diet, I used this tallow all the time. My husband would pre-make a bunch of hamburgers that we'd put in the freezer. When I wanted one, I'd pull it out, put some tallow on top, stick in the microwave for 60 seconds each side, and then eat a delicious, juicy burger. Although it's difficult to get out of the container, that's just the nature of the beast. As far as flavor, this is an excellent product. The price seems a little high, but I still say it's worth it.
