The bed you are looking for!
The quality of this loft bed is impressive. The stability is outstanding. It does not make any noise, It looks great! It fits any space that you would put in a twin bed. WE LOVE the stairs! The value is on point. No missing parts. Two of the parts are labeled incorrectly, for us it the smallest bolt, labeled as K when it is H and the hand rail # 26 was labeled as 25, but it was easy to figure out both situations because we already used the part 25 and the H is the smallest bolt. Also, very important to remember... when you get to the part where you put the mattress support bars in... put the bars in on one side and have it standing up as shown in the book, then lay the other side down flat and place the ends of the poles on top of the holes where they go in and slowly raise the side for an easy assembly. It is nice to have an additional shelf for added protection. We used a 9 inch thick twin mattress, it is a perfect fit. We used a ratchet style Allen wrench in two sizes for easier assembly and kept the bolts a little loose on the bed frame when putting the stairs together, then tightened down when all together. Don't forget to take breaks and give yourself 3-4 hours.

Great bed
My son loves this loft bed. It took most of the day to put together. Directions were great and everything labeled well. It comes with hardware ti an ch it it to the wall if you wish. It’s pretty sturdy without the anchors.

Definitely a commitment, but worthwhile!
I'm in a studio, and this piece has definitely saved a TON of room! It's short enough that I can still sit up on the top bunk, and while I haven't been able to screw it into the wall yet it still feels pretty sturdy! But one thing to mention- do NOT build this by yourself! It recommends two adults at least, FOLLOW THAT! You definitely CAN build it by yourself if you have to, but it took me 9 hours from start to finish with minimal breaks. Instructions are pretty clear although I'd pay attention to the way the pieces are facing in the pictures. The only reason I rate it a 4 not a 5 is two of the wooden pieces didn't have the correct hole placement for the pre-drilled spots so be wary of that. Other than that though, so far I like it!

Impressed!
My 6'3" son wanted more space in his room without giving up the comfort of a bed that fits his size. This bed did the trick! It's sturdy, well made and the desk is perfect for computer, etc. The built in shelf on top for phone, clock whatever is also a plus! Plenty of room for his size and his stuff! Note: You definitely need two people to put this together and about half a day at least but, the instructions were easy to follow.

Had since Aug '25, still standing strong w/ a couple sleeping on it!
Very easy to build! Very well made! And VERY sturdy! I don't have mine bolted to the wall because I am renting, so it wiggles around a bit when you are moving in it, but it's surprisingly stable! Plus, IT REALLY CAN handle the weight that it says it can, me and my partner sleep on this bed together!!! With the mattress included we are barely over the weight limit 😂

A Perfect Loft Bed — With Essential Upgrades
I’m really enjoying this loft bed! I bought it mainly for the staircase and the shelf, and honestly those two features make the entire setup feel like a functional space instead of a kid’s bunk with a ladder. The steps are way better than any ladder could ever be. They feel sturdy, safe, and easy to climb — a huge upgrade for daily use. And the shelf is absolutely worth it; it makes the top level feel like a real sleeping nook with space for a lamp, phone, books, etc. Under-bed clearance is a little short (especially if you’ve seen the IKEA loft bed, which has around 4–6 more inches underneath). Those few inches really do matter if you plan to use the area as an adult workspace or lounge. I considered adding risers, but with the staircase design, it wouldn’t feel stable enough, so I kept it as-is. Even with the lower clearance, I’m very happy with this bed. For the price, the quality, stairs, and shelf make it absolutely worth it.

Beat features are the steps and bunk shelf
Got this 2 months ago for 14yo. Instructions were easy to follow. Kids helped. We put a full size futon mattress on it. The best features are the steps and the shelf on the bunk. Very sturdy/no wobble/no clanky sound. Would buy again.

Great space saver with narrow stairs
Great purchase to save some space! I live in a small one bed/one bath home and have a decent bit of space dedicated to my computer/home office. I really wanted to reclaim that space, so I decided to look into lofted beds. This one caught my eye because it has stairs instead of a ladder, and no desk included (which is great for me, I've already got a desk I like). The upsides: -looks pretty much exactly like the picture -nice black metal, feels sturdy -works great with magnets! I used some magnetic hooks to hang curtains on mine -lots of storage space under the stairs -ideal height for a useful sitting space underneath the bed -though heavy, it's not too hard to maneuver once it's built The downsides: -definitely takes two people to put together. My dad is a mechanic and we've put together some complicated items, but this still took us about 5-6 hours. You'll want a friend, a Bluetooth speaker, and a power drill before buying this! Plus a big space to assemble the items. This isn't necessarily a downside, but definitely worth noting. -stairs are steep and quite narrow. I'm a small woman but have broad shoulders and hips, and the stairs are not very comfortable to use (although they do work and feel pretty sturdy). This is actually what prompted me to write this review. The size is listed in the pictures as 15.6", which is maybe 4" shy of being more comfortable for an adult to use this.
