Great check valve, no issues!
Used this on the discharge of my aging air compressor as the reeds in the head started leaking a bit.. it’s been on it for months and endured lots of heat without an issue!

Solid metal & well made.
Well made, all metal. Very heavy considering how small they are. Unit has arrow on it showing direction. It says it's made for 1/4"od tubes. I found it's very slightly loose. I used a bit more thread tape and it works great. No complaints at all.

Good fit and doesn't leak
So far very good. Holds pressure on my air bags from leaking back through compressor.

lacked any marking to indicate the flow direction
The check valve lacked any marking to indicate the flow direction, despite the photo clearly showing an arrow on the valve to indicate flow direction. I've ordered a replacement and will return the valve. I'll update this review once I see if the new valve has the correct marking. Update - the replacement arrived, and still no arrow indicating flow direction. I guess I'll try it to see if I can figure it out. Otherwise, they both go back! Update #2 - I hooked the valve up to a pump and confirmed that the inlet side is the end from which you can see the ball inside the check valve. But the valve should have the arrow marking as shown in the pictures, and users shouldn't have to troubleshoot the valve to figure out the flow direction!!

Check valve flow direction
This is for those leaving a 1-star review because it didn't have an arrow for direction of flow. Blow on each end to figure this out in less than 10 seconds. Or look at each end for the ball. Which ever end the ball is seated flush at is the checked direction or inlet. Before posting negative reviews, a quick Google search could help as well.

Installation was time consuming on copper tubing
I used this with a water mixing valve that feed's my toilet's. It seems to being a good job of keeping hot water from backing up into my cold water feed. Connecting this into my copper feed line was difficult as the tapered compression fitting only went on the copper after much dressing down.

Very well made check valve
I ordered this for use in my van’s on-board compressed air system for the air locker differential. It is installed before the accumulator tank so that if there is a failure upstream there is still plenty of compressed air to operate the air locker. The check valve works great, and the fittings do not leak. I like that it is stainless steel, so no worries about corrosion. Great quality, recommended.
