High quality portable screen.
Excellent! Screen size takes you by surprise larger than you think. Perfect second screen and light in weight. Screen quality is really good and doesn't heat up like others. Great value for money. Comes with all the extra cables and connections needed and looks great overall. Highly recommend.

Robust, bright, and travel-ready - perfect for coding
I already own another UPERFECT monitor that I use for workspaces, which fits nicely in my laptop bag. However, for extended stays away from home, I wanted something a bit larger. That’s why I got this monitor as a travel-friendly second screen.he packaging is paper-based and eco-friendly—the plastic bag around the monitor even felt compostable (or at least fully recyclable). Everything inside was well secured and easy to unpack. The build quality is excellent—solid, sturdy, and clearly built to last.Setup was simple with a couple of connectivity options: one USB-C cable from my Dell XPS 13 worked instantly, and mini-HDMI is also an option. (With my ultrabook, I used a small hub for HDMI out and the included USB-C cable and plug for power when I need my spare USB port for something else). I had to do some configuration to get it how I liked, but the screen is bright, clear, and vibrant, with plenty of space for multitasking. I tested with a few high-quality YouTube videos, which looked great.I really find it lovely to use. It’s big enough for real work like coding in VS Code, editing spreadsheets, and running remote sessions, yet slim and light enough to fit in my suitcase for when I’m staying with family (which happens a lot). The price is good, especially if you can get it on offer. The magnetic stand is simple but effective, and VESA mount holes (with screws included) make it useful for a permanent setup. My only minor gripe is the slightly fiddly adjustment controls, but once set up, you probably won’t need to touch them again.Overall, a robust, high-quality portable monitor that’s perfect for travel or home use. Highly recommended.

Clear colours, crisp screen, perhaps too high resolution for screen size.
Amazing picture quality and colours next to my Macbook pro 15 retina screen. It works amazingly well at 2560 x1440 resolution which is very high for this physical size of the screen. perhaps a little too high for my eyesight (I use 1728x1117 on my Macbook pro) so at this resolution i find it hard to see text.Running at lower resolutions though the edges look slightly blurred and feathered, perhaps because not running at its native resolution. Also it was strange that my Macbook doesn't pick up the max resolution unless you go into the advanced configuration (perhaps just a Apple driver issue)

A proper work monitor
Having bought the 13.3 inch uperfect previously, I decided to try the 18.5 inch version.Compared with the smaller screen, (which works very well as a small, very portable option - but also lacks sufficient screen real estate to work as a full-time monitor), the larger screen feels like a proper monitor that you could work from full time if you wanted to.The larger size does obviously impact the portability of the screen.Although it is heavier and takes up more space, it uses the same screen protector which doubles as a stand as the smaller version - this works well as it both keeps the screen protected and takes up little space as a stand.I bought my smaller screen in several years ago and have used it extensively whilst away with no discernable damage, it still looks the same as when I bought it.I took a picture of the 18.5 inch (centre) versus the 13.3 inch (left) and my surface (right), which gives an indication of the size difference. The larger screen just makes everything more easily readable.Another positive difference with the 18.5 inch version compared with both my surface and the 13.3 inch is that it is matt and not glossy - which makes it much better to work with in sunny or bright conditions, as you do not get the reflection. It is not perfect however:- The brightness level is on the low side. In the picture this is turned to it's maximum (whereas the smaller screens are not).- I'm not sure if I have set it up correctly, but the in-built speakers using the usb-c cable appeared poor - very low volume and a tinny sound. There is a separate audio port, it may be that using that would make a difference, but this wasn't an issue for me anyway.Overall, for my purposes it is ideal: it can still go in my bag, it can be powered by usb-c cable (which means less cables and power sockets required), and gives me a screen that feels like a proper work monitor.
