This swaddle is excellent. My 4-month-old sleeps very comfortably in it. The 100% organic fabric is soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin. I’m so glad i found this swaddle! This has been the best swaddle for my newborn. It is very easy to use and she isn’t able to wiggle her way out of it. I appreciate the mesh parts so it is breathable while still keeping her warm. It is good quality and has held up well. The size is perfect too. And the color/pattern is very cute!

The single, most HELPFUL product I encountered as a first time mom was this swaddle. My newborn has used it since day 1 at the clinic both at nights and naps, and IT HAS PROLONGED HER SLEEP. We’ve also used it to soothe her, with amazing results. It’s magical!!! I’ve gifted it to friends and family and all parents have been super thankful and happy. PROS: - MORE SLEEP! Total. Game. Changer. My baby slept longer stretches of time with the swaddle on vs. without. And this was the only swaddle that did the trick. We tried dozens! But baby always managed to get the arms out and wake up. This one holds their arms perfectly (thanks to the inner bands with Velcro) and provides the security and soothing that this thousand year long tradition promotes - SO EASY TO USE: it’s so practical to just put velcros together and zip them. Others we tried were confusing, much like doing it with a blanket. My husband and I just aren’t that talented! - EXCELLENT QUALITY: Quality is amazing. Soft and breathable fabric, not to thick, not to light either, we’ve washed it repeatedly and still great for our second child! Same with the Velcro. Still in perfect shape after 4-5 months use - SMART DESIGN FOR EXTENDED USE: Unlike other competitor products, this one allows you to unsap the arm openings, so you can remove one or two arms when baby starts rolling (at around 4 months) and it’s not safe for them to be fully swaddled. So you can extend its use to 5-6 months - DON’T HAVE TO UNSWADDLE FOR DIAPER CHANGE. Two way-zipper has come in super handy when a diaper change was needed in the middle of the night. And a nice detail: the zipper is covered at the end so it doesn’t make contact with baby’s chin. They’ve really thought of everything! CONS: I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this swaddle BOTTOM LINE: Buy this swaddle for your newborn! You won’t regret it. In fact, buy more than one.

The quality itself is great but I’m really disappointed that they keep $10 if you have to return due to the size not fitting your baby. I ordered a small based on age and weight but feel that it is too small for my baby. UPDATE: Once I returned the Small and ordered the Medium, I could not be happier with this purchase! It truly does only take 5 seconds to use and is made of quality material. I love the zipper part as it feels like the swaddle is more secure instead of just wrapped fabric/velcro like some other swaddles. A definite purchase if you plan to swaddle your babe, just be cautious when choosing the size because you do not get a full refund if you have to return.

This is the second size of the sleepea swaddle I bought for my little one and I feel it really helped him get great sleep. We started with the small not long after coming home from the hospital. He would sleep 2-3 hours at a time before busting out of a muslin swaddle and after transitioning to this we were able to get 6-7 hour stretches. The Velcro wrap and security of the zip up sleep sack kept his arm movement at bay and help him rest longer. He is just about to turn 4 months old and we are now transitioning to a different sleep sack because this on no longer contains him. I deducted one star because the Velcro looses its strength very quickly and keeps coming undone during the night allowing him to get his hands in his face and wake him up. The Velcro strip also wrinkled after the first wash after accidentally getting thrown into the dryer so highly recommend air drying. The wrap it self is nice and warm and very soft on the inside but doesn’t retain heat so much as to cause over heating.

FIT: My daughter is 4 months old and on the chunkier side. Her chest is about 16" around, when I put her arms into the straps it can barely close and the flap on the bottom is almost a tad too short for my liking, but I think it's just because my daughter is going through a growth spurt. If I strap just her chest and leave the arms on her sides, it's much more comfortable and she doesn't mind. Otherwise, strapped all in is too tight in my opinion. FEATURES: What I like about this swaddle is how secure the velcro is. Once it's on, it's not budging. Even baby Houdini would struggle with it. This is a high quality swaddle. It's lightweight, breathable and worth the value. The material is soft like a cotton blend that has a little puffiness in the fabric. It's like a baby blanket material, but durable. Bonus is the packaging didn't have any annoying tags you had to pop off. It came in a cardboard box packaging. The 2 way zipper is great for times when you need to change the nappy and don't have to undo the restraint. Simply zip upward and change the diaper. A lot of thought was put into the design. My daughter is a little Hulk and my husband had no problems feeding her while swaddled. The arm sections have heavy duty snaps to keep baby's arms inside or you can undo them to have the arms out and contained which works like a sleep sack. Overall: My daughter had no issues adjusting to it. She does not like swaddles, but this one allowing her to have some arm freedom I feel was a good compromise she is willing to make. The only con I can really think of, is if you have a chunkier baby, size up. I think I'll keep mines because I think this would work fine even if her arms are not in the restraints, but in the sack.

My baby loves this swaddle! He sleeps great in it! My boy was born big and quickly out grew the swaddle me zip swaddles and this was the only one that was pretty much the same. He didn't like the velcro parts that hold his arms to the side, he prefers them up on his chest. So I ended up closing the velcro parts and laying him on top of it and zipping him up like I would in the swaddle me zip ones. He did great in it just like that. But I ended up using my seam ripper (very carefully) to remove the velcro parts and now its perfect. I wish they'd make it without the velcro parts to begin with but it works just fine laying on top or removing. Overall I will be buying a couple more especially since it can transition to arms out also. The quality is amazing for the price and the material itself is soft and strong.

Is there a way to give more than 5 stars? As a parent to a breech baby, swaddling is essential for sleep! Those legs sticking up require a tight swaddling for a solid base. I used to have to try any use 2 swaddles to get my baby nice and cozy. The only way that would happen would be through an epic fight, and I routinely lost. This swaddle has saved me! Goes on so easy, is a nice tight wrap, but still shows some wiggle room and breathability. I still use a second swaddle on top, but it's so easy to put on once this swaddle is set up. Seriously, a life-saver! Well worth the money. I'll be getting more as my baby grows. The only note I have is the zipper feels like it goes up a little too far.
