I bought this to aid in leash training for our XXXXX pulling and lunging ball of muscle. After two extensive lessons, it is having a noticeable effect on his leash manners. So, bottom line is, it seems to be working exactly as intended. It is easy on, and easy off with the quick disconnect. I scaled down from the 3.0 size, and it has lost no effectiveness. My only caution involves the quick release device on this smaller unit; it seems to be a little fragile, and that means having the leash connected to both this collar and a separate flat collar essential for assured security.

Durable collar well built and perfect for training! Fits our Rottweiler perfectly after removing 2 links and has made a huge improvement almost immediately in how he behaves on walks!
