I’ve been through a LOT of self-tanners over the years, trying to find one that gives me a deep, natural look without clashing with my pink undertones. I was a loyal St. Tropez user for years, then switched to Norvell, but this Loving Tan Platinum Express is my new favorite. The mousse dries quickly, applies smoothly with a mitt, and develops into an even, olive-toned tan (no orange at all). Within just 2 hours I had a beautiful, professional-looking result that lasted several days without streaks or patchiness. Big caution though: do NOT leave this on overnight. I made the mistake of falling asleep in it once (something I had done with other brands without issue), and it was a disaster. The tan was initially gorgeous, but it dried my skin out badly and took forever to fade. Now I stick to the 2-hour timing, and it’s perfect. For anyone with pink undertones looking for a rich, natural-looking tan that develops quickly and dries fast, this is one of the best options out there—just make sure you rinse on time!

Love the quick and complete dry down of this tanner. Most self tans never seem to fully dry down and remain at least a little tacky and are somewhat aggravating to use. My experience with this one has always been great. I am almost all the way through my bottle and the only negative I can give is that the packaging is not 100% leak proof. I had a trip that I took this with me and my toiletry bag definitely had a few questionable looking stains and puddles. I worked around this by wrapping a tissue around the nozzle under the cap and that fixed the leakage.

I’m giving it 3 stars because it is EXTREMELY hard to get off & leaves you spotted up like a leopard! However it does give you a good tan until you actually take a shower with soap or shower gel then most of it comes off. It’s way too expensive for it to last just long enough for a shower & then you start to turn into a leopard. I’ve used lots of different self tanners that is a lot better than this one. After a weeks worth of scrubbing I decided to try alcohol wipes to get it off & look how much is STILL coming off!! I got tired of using the wipes & scrubbing the far outta my skin so I stopped with the wipes, may try to use more tomorrow to get more off! Would I recommend it to a friend? The answer would be no.

As a really pale girl who can’t naturally tan it is really hard to find a good tanner. This is by far the best one I have used! It has given me the darkest tan I have ever had and blends well. I have gotten many compliments. It is worth the price!
